    really should have given kimbrel the night off last night. had a 3 run lead, chafin faced just one batter in the 8th and i think the first couple hitters in the 9th were lefties/switch hitters.

    the throwing the ball to the catcher part was the capper after a run of many, many bad decisions. the guy sliding headfirst into home is completely meaningless. he is one inch away from tagging baez and he instead flips it to the catcher.
