    and how’d he do in the 12 starts before those? He’s had an ERA under 2.00 for a month and a half fascinating. he now has a 4.48 era, a 1.48 whip and has barely struck out more than he’s walked. he has overall sucked and sucked hard. not sure how this is even a debate.

    yeah, it's not like the cubs opted not to sign him or he spurned the cubs for another team or he demanded a trade. like, the cubs had him. and they willingly just gave him away. so wild.

    it seems impossible that there isn't a better back up catcher out there than higgins, who completely sucks offensively and defensively.
