    usually takes 3-4 years of watching a guy play against my team twice a year before I really hate a player, but davison pulled it off in a mere 40 minutes.

    it worked great tonight, but I’m not sure iowa st should rely on the “stand around for 28 seconds and then have the 24% 3 pt shooting freshman chuck a 25 footer” offense going forward.

    iowa state had 9 Q1 wins and 0 Q3/4 losses, so i don’t get how they barely get in as an 11 seed. i would say this shows the committee cares about your NET ranking (isu’s was worse than you would guess looking at their resume), but rutgers getting in kind of blows that theory up. have to assume they considered isu looking like wet trash recently. that being said, can’t get a much better 11 seed draw than a coach-less LSU, then maybe wisconsin. much, much better than ANY 7, 8, 9 or 10 draw.

    iowa state kind of sucks, but I feel like there should be a much bigger gap between them and rutgers. either isu should be higher or rutgers should be lower, don’t know which.
