yeah, studies have shown that dumb pitchers are more prone to wild pitches. Watch him in person. He gets flustered, alot. I don't hate the guy, but showed tons of negative body language Friday night in Cincy. Pacing around the mound, shrugging his shoulders, putting his head down. It doesn't have anything to do with intelligence, more like composure. If Friday is a "bad" outing, then I'm not going to complain about Hill's composure or how he goes about his job on the mound. Did I say it was a bad outing? It was just a comment on his mannerisms. Things fall apart for him very quickly. That's a matter of opinion. If there's a strong defensive catcher Hill might not have given up any runs that inning. As it stood he only gave up one, is that falling apart? How do you know that it's linked to his mannerisms? People are different, Hill may show outward displays of frustration in order for him to get over it and focus entirely on the next play. Sure it was Kendall fault that Hill made a error, Hit, HBP, and walk. There is no one to blame but himself. that's not what he said. at all.
