  1. too bad that doesnt apply to murton, considering his season is nothing near solid. I'm quite sure he was referring to last season, which should have earned Murton the starting gig in LF (or RF) to start this year. Or were you arguing that last season he wasn't solid? It did earn him the starting position early this year. Then he lost it on his own. Patience is a virtue. Actually he didn't start off with a horrible year, he was just immediately limeited to platoon playing time.
  2. So what is the ml roster move supposed to be?
  3. It's a double sliding Soto day. Who is this Geovany Soto you speak of?
  4. What a friggin waste of an asset that would be. Err, what SSR said. Asset? What exactly does Cedeno bring to the table? 24 year old who has torn up AAA. Could be valuable in a trade if we find a gullible GM...so basically if we try to make a trade with ourselves. But has been nothing short of pathetic at the big league level. His career OPS+ is lower than Neifi's. That should tell you all you need to know about the guy. He's played one full year in the majors. If he had been starting from day one this year, I think he'd be putting up respectable numbers What makes you think that? x2, the kid has NO strikezone judgement
  5. It all depends on what you mean by "best finishes." If you mean what is more embarrasing, than it's the Murton cutout since that would be the worst defense except Floyd. If we are talking about what is the best option there it's gatorade :D

  7. Absolutely not.
  8. Well, until we get Arod. :D we're trading for him right now :D
  9. i went with the Murton cut out, but we need an all of the above option :)
  10. If you throw good pitches to Ramirez, those pitches end up 450 feet away. no, if you throw bad pitches to Ramirez they end up 450 feet away. it's possible to throw good pitches for strikes I thought you were talking about good pitches for a hitter

  13. This gets quoted a million times with no proof or evidence. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=3766 http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/constructing-lineups/ if you read that of bp you'll notice that power hitters should not lead off  Case in point: Sori should bat fifth with Riot leading off.

  16. so alot of time when i click on a page i get this "google could not find" error. Yet, if I hit the "back" button it takes me to the page i was trying to view.
  17. Marquis just pitched three days ago; he's not going to be able to pitch tonight. It's bullpen time if the game resumes, followed by Lilly and an emergency callup tomorrow. It would have been different if there was an earlier off-day this time through the rotation. The reason I say Marquis is I thought today was his throw day. I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe he could pitch just a couple of innings (he only went 6 last time anyway) and then get one inning each per reliever.what about piggy?
