First off, my team(winning team)=Bennett or Tigers Losing team=Pinnacle The game started off when Bennett went down 14-0 Before the end of the second half Bennett was down 14-7 Kenny Weikel(QB) had many a chances to tie it up right there but kept overthrowing the damn ball. Later on it is 21-17 Bennett, Bennett fumbles, Pinnacle scores 21-24 Pinnacle Bennett scores on amazing kickoff return by Steven Ronan. Fourth quarter, my voice is all but lost yet I was still screaming, pinnacle has the ball and keeps getting closer and closer, every time they are stopped on 4th down Tigers commit penalty on 1st and 10 Pinnacle at the 17 yard line it is a 3 and out with less than one minute left Bennett gets the ball on turnover on downs with 16 ticks left Needless to say they took a knee and then everyone went on the field and congratulated the team Team huddles up in front of crowd and sings Bennett fight song Well worth the paltry 3$ entry fee.

I haven't finished the description Bennett Stopped the other team twice on Fourth down and should've ended it there but Twice committed a penalty.

A high school varsity game under the lights with the game decided with less than one minute left in the fourth quarter. And to top things off I even got yelled at for screaming f-you (insert QB's name who overthrew everything) repeated times

I totally agree, I even stated that Tejada is the better player.

I like Theriot a lot, but quite frankly he's destined to be a utility player, whereas Pie is going to be fixture in CF for us for years to come. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Boy, I'd love to install Tejada as our shortstop and move Theriot to the utility role. That would be a huge upgrade. We all know that SS, CF, RF and C are the areas of weakness, and with a tough free agent market, this might be a good way to go. Yea but SS isn't a huge hole right now compared to the OF. I'll take an improved OF. I am in no way saying that Theriot is better than Miguel. But you are saying that Theriot > Pie or Murton. I don't agree with that statement. Murton isn't the starter and likely won't be next year. Pie is not entrenched in my book as this great baseball player. And Theriot is a great baseball player in your mind? Hooray for scrappy guys! I've been a fan of Theriot since he was drafted, but he is what he is. I'm glad he's on the team and he's a great guy to have around as a utility guy. But he provides no power and doesn't get on base enough to close the production gap. On defense, he's very reliable but does not have the range of other SS. He is a great baserunner - but that's not nearly as important as other facets of the game. Pie may or may not turn into a great ballplayer, but at least he could. He's also a pretty good bet to be at least as productive as Theriot in 2008 while playing a better CF than Theriot plays SS. Murton would almost certainly be better than either on offense, even adjusted for position, in 2008. If he's not the starter in 2008, you still need to say that Theriot will be more productive than Jones or whomever else will be out there. I'm just listing Pie & Murton as the default options. What is so bad about Theriot's range? IMO he's done a terrific job, you seem to forget that our pitchers are mostly flyball and K pitchers.
