  1. You’re not wrong about some things in here, but Zach has been incredibly efficient the last several years. And I’m pretty sure he’s a good dude and a good teammate. The stories above seem to paint a different picture. Can I get a TLDR of the stories you’re referring to? I only see 1 Athletic paywall article and some tweets that teammates were frustrated with Zach, and they had a verbal argument within their locker room. Certainly willing to change my mind but I’ve generally liked the things he’s said and done publicly during his time with the Bulls.

  3. I'd guess the sacks and don't forget two fumbles. I'm hoping/assuming it's not opponent adjusted, because those things are bad but against the Eagles some of that's just gonna happen. QBR takes into account the difficulty of the opponent. QBR is incredibly complex and sacks are a huge part as they have a very large negative impact on EPA.

  5. Much prefer this over Correa and his deal
  6. I have nothing against the current Yankees, and definitely prefer them over the Astros. I would have been fine with up to 6/180 for the Cubs. We need velocity and a front end starter. We have the depth to limit his innings and navigate his potential injury. Oh well, not surprised.
  7. But why not just root for Fields to play well and the team to lose? Defense is plenty bad enough.

    NFL Week 14

Tyreek Hill disagrees with you (though that was a monster game). My clear cut top 2.
  9. That’s brutal. How can you start the playoffs when teams are still on bye? Was pretty pissed about it as a Justin Fields and Michael Pittman owner, but I took care of that by losing to the last place team and losing the tiebreaker to miss out on the playoffs.
  10. I’m in a league that inexcusably begins playoffs this week.
  11. I may hate or like this depending on what other moves follow.
  12. Illinois lost at home to Purdue.
  13. $15 buys you two entries into the competition. Each team you choose one QB, RB, WR/TE to fill your roster for the week. My other team got knocked out in week 3 with subpar performances from Kirk Cousins against Detroit and Davante Adams vs. Tennessee. The killer was David Montgomery leaving with an injury vs. Houston and their league worst rush defense at the time. My team that is still in is currently sitting with Trevor Lawrence, Aaron Jones and Amon Ra for the upcoming week. I'm probably going to go with Aaron Rodgers (we all know how Rodgers always plays against the Bears) if he plays this week, though. Which will change my RB since I don't want two from the same team. I've also toyed with going with Watson this week, but I think I'd rather see him play a game before risking my team. So, I'm looking at Lawrence, Jones and St. Brown or Rodgers, Dameon Pierce and Amari Cooper or a mix and match of those depending on how I feel on game day. The RB and WR position is getting thin. I still have plenty of QB's to choose from, but the elite guys are all used up. Interesting set up. So Week 13: 28 teams, week 14: 19, week 15: 13, week 16: 9, week 17: 6, week 18: 4 > then what? I also wouldn’t mind starting Rodgers and Jones with how much Rodgers throws to him (53 targets on the year already) and playing the Bears, assuming it’s 0.5 or 1 ppr. That combo should be pretty safe to keep you out of the bottom third.
  14. Impressive W. If they can shoot that well and play defense that hard most nights, they would be a very good team. The defensive rebounding was very bad, as was Zach.
  15. How is the line only 4?
  16. That was actually an encouraging L. They played 2.5 quarters of really good defense. Zach is rusty as hell and seems reluctant to go to the basket. Offense went to horsefeathers when they doubled Demar to force the ball out of his hands.
  17. Mediocre teams (Bulls) lose to slightly crappy/not terrible teams (4-2 Spurs/3-2 Wizards) on the road a lot. If healthy Zach plays, we probably win at least one, or both. More than all that, the Bulls need Lonzo. They are once again 2nd from the bottom in 3pt attempts and can’t guard anyone. My only hope for this season is they can play .500 ball and Lonzo miraculously returns healthy in February/March.
  18. Ayo might be really good.
  19. That’s the first time I can remember something positive happening out of the shotgun.
  20. Pretty cool GW homer for Willy. Give him a lifetime contract no matter how irrational it may be. Steele has to be approaching his pro career high IP in a season.
