  1. I was at the game and it was very cool. I went back and checked to see if Derozan had played Illinois when he was at USC for his one and done year (he hadn’t) and had completely forgotten that he’d been on the same team with Vucevic and Taj Gibson and was coached by Tim Floyd. They somehow were only sitting at 16-12 before peeling off a few wins in a row and winning the Pac12 tournament before losing to Mich St in the 2nd round of the NCAAs. How bad of a coach do you have to be to not at least make a final 4 with those guys?
  2. Not sure how anyone can watch these Bulls games and think Lonzo is a big stretch for the AS team. not sure how anyone can look at his numbers and be shocked he isn't getting consideration Agree. He’s not an all star. There are just too few spots and he’s going to need to put up better numbers, to go along with his ferocious defense, for anyone to take that argument seriously. Love having him, though. And he’s a huge reason the Bulls are where they are.
  3. Picking the Packers in my survivor pool. Bears just have no chance... right?
  4. PW, Coby, and the Blazers pick for Christian Wood? Who says no? Probably both?
  5. So who is the big we are going to get to complete this roster? Any guesses?
  6. Reaggrevate or what?
  7. I kind of hate the iso hero ball we go to late in games. But I get it. And DD has been near unstoppable. Seems like he always gets the bucket or draws a foul in those situations.
  8. Can’t be upset about a close loss to a really good Miami team on the road on a back to back. That said, Vuc needs to get going. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now returning from Covid. But it’s not looking pretty.
  9. Where’s he going to rank on our prospect lists going into next year?
  10. Guess you’re gonna lose when Zach, Lonzo, and DD all have bad games and Vuc is out with Covid. Nice first Q, though.
  11. Dynasty... so I’m assuming all. RBs are “easy” to find assuming you don’t have super big rosters with a lot of bench spots. They also break down and turn over much quicker. So just build around your young QBs, Brown, Chase, and Bateman. I agree trading Hock might be worth exploring as TEs don’t do much for you unless they are Kelce-level. Maybe the owner of Javonte Williams is annoyed with his limited role. Or maybe a Dobbins/Akers owner is in contention and wants to trade them for immediate help. You CAN build around young productive stud WRs in dynasty leagues. That’s actually my preferred route. You’ll have a top pick and can draft a day one starting RB to plop into your RB1 spot. Then just have to keep on the waiver wire for another RB or 3. Herbert could take over the starting role in 2023 for you. It’s definitely not the worst situation to be in. Look to see what you can get for Brown and Hock and go from there. Also, anytime you can trade a current round 2 pick, for a future first round pick, do it. 2nd round bust rate is really high but people always fall in love with a guy they HAVE to get. Take advantage and get a first rounder in the following years draft, which has a much higher probability of working out. Dont overrate QBs in a 1QB league.
  12. They’ve taken care of business, but they need to beat a quality opponent on the road a few times before I can start proclaiming 5th best in the East is too low. Miami has been destroying everyone and the other 4 have to be ranked ahead of the Bulls until we get a larger sample size. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see the Bulls finish top 3 in the East, though.
  13. I’ve been on the fence with DD. But games like today are exactly why you need him. Tons of free throws and can get you an iso bucket when you need it. Vuc was bad, but had the best +/- on the team. Further demonstrating how bad +/- is. They need to get better at inbounding the ball in late game situations. Lonzo is very good. Particularly on the defensive end. PW was invisible once again.
  14. Vuc is not a bad defender. He’s a slow defender and when playing with wings who can’t get over screens, a liability to your pick and roll defense. But he positions himself well, uses his body well, and alters shots without fouling. He’s also a solid defensive rebounder. I was discussing this with some friends last night...How is Coby going to get playing time? Who is giving up minutes? TBJ is the only guy I’d maybe like to see reduced minutes from. Maybe you can rest DD more and insert Coby in with the new bench mob to provide the instant offense.
  15. Zach is good
  16. I’m more upset about the Tannehill jab
  17. I put some cash on Bulls over 43.5. There was 42.5 wins too, but chose to go for the extra win with less juice. Too motivated, talented, and deep to not bum slay enough to get there. Will be interesting to see how they play against good teams.
  18. Not really sure what he has left, but still annoying.
  19. 12 seems spot on to me. They could be a top 10ish team if JF comes in relatively quick, doesn’t get murdered, and makes a bunch of big plays. Or they could be a bottom 10-15 team if things don’t go quite right.
  20. Yeah I actually like the fit. There’s enough minutes to go around for Lauri, Mobley, and Allen. I think Lauri and Allen complement each other nicely. Or Lauri and Mobley. Honestly just the Mobley/Allen combo may not work well. AKME has had a brilliant year in control, other than the tampering. What a breath of fresh air. Even if it doesn’t work out, at least they made Bulls basketball interesting again and took some chances. Also, Coby is the last remaining GarPax pick. Pretty remarkable turnaround.
  21. Dolphins secondary/defense is really, really good. Just stating, not drawing that conclusion from this game or using it as an excuse as to why the offense has done literally nothing.
  22. I weirdly recorded and watched a good chunk of the game. He was great early. The Pelicans defense was definitely paying most attention to PW and trying to stop him from getting to the spots he wanted to get to. He was great in the first half but seemed to run out of gas in the 2nd half. Loved seeing him take so many shots and handle the ball so much. Hopefully a sign of more aggression even when he’s on the court with players better than him.
  23. Was hoping to convert Lauri into an asset, but whatever.
  24. I watched the last 3 games and Zachs defense has been slightly improved from last years NBA season. The effort has increased, but he just seems to lack awareness. He often loses his man. His steals have largely been due to losing his man momentarily, but being athletic enough to get back into position quick enough to get into the passing lane and get the steal. This should be a great experience for him and hopefully he continues to carry the defensive effort over into the NBA season. Especially now that he won’t have as large of an offensive burden. Also, Durant seems to love him.
