I bet that it was mostly because a first round rematch is the kind of thing reporters love to ask questions about. Exactly. I doubt Hinrich or Noc just openly started talking about it. I'm sure a reporter asked how'd they feel if they lost the game against NJ and were faced with a first-round matchup with the Heat. I don't see anything wrong with answering a question with honesty. Besides, like I said before, it's not like the Heat were gonna give any less than 100% anyways.

We're screwed Wow, Hinrich, you idiot. Why? Because he supposedly said that they can beat the Heat in a 7 game series? Would you rather him say we have no chance? Besides, it's not like the Heat weren't going to give 100% effort in the series, anyways.

I think it would probably be easiest to get someone in at C. 2B has Utley and SS has Reyes. It's gonna be hard to beat all the New York fans voting for Reyes and Utley is clearly the best 2B. McCann is clearly the best catcher, but he isn't well known to the common fan. I say everyone vote like crazy for Blanco (is he even on the ballot?). We can also get other message boards to get in on this. If we get enough people from enogh message boards, we can make it work.

Is there a reason for that? Yeah they are better than us. That and they have DWade, who in the playoffs gets fouls called for him in the pregame warmup. We are like the Mariners were a few years ago, built for the regular season. We just don't have that go to guy who can get his own one on one and in the NBA playoffs you need that. So you're also a Heat in 5 guy? Nah I think it goes 7, but I got them in 7. The Heat needed everything Wade had to beat the Pacers in Miami a couple nights ago. Wade's a shadow of what he was last year. Bring 'em on. Bulls in 6. And to add to that. They barely beat us in the playoffs last year. And that was when we didn't have Wallace. Deng and Gordon were a year younger. We didn't have TT or Thabo. Shaq was a year younger, D-Wade was fully healthy, and they were playing the best basketball in the league. Oh yeah, and they had home court advantage. I don't see how you can just say the Heat are a better team. The 82 games each team has played the past 6 months don't back that up.

Agreed. Quite frankly, I think Drew is better than Peralta. I said currently because I feel that Peralta is currently a better hitter than Drew. That may not last long. They both have a lot of potential though. However, they are both currently bench players and compete with Josh Hamilton and Sosa for the Util and Joe Crede for the INF slot. I don't think my team is good enough to win this year. I'm looking more towards having a strong team to compete next year. I have Gallardo , Volstad, Gallagher, and Lincecum coming up so would I be better off holding on to Drew and not trading for a starter like Wainwright? Would it be smart to try and deal Tejada for pitching help? It's an 18 team league so there isn't much pitching to pick up.

That is true. However, we did spank NJ last week at home. I think tonight was just one of those games where the Bulls didn't play well in on the road. We don't match up real good with NJ though, that's for sure. However, I'd rather have NJ/TOR than MIA/DET (no home court)

I disagree. We beat all the teams we were supposed to down the stretch minus the Nets.

Exactly. A series with the Heat is much more exciting than one with Orlando, Washington, or New Jersey. When will we find out when the Bulls first game is? Also, do we know how many lottery balls we'll be receiving with the Knicks pick? The Knicks beat Charlotte by a point tonight.

I have Miguel Tejada, Stephen Drew, and Jhonny Peralta in one of my dynasty leagues. I was offered Adam Wainwright for Stephen Drew. I need some pitching help and Drew is my 3rd best shortstop currently, but his upside is so big. Would you do it?

Yes, it could. Anything can happen. I'll judge the Bulls by how they played the rest of the year. Not one game on the road in New Jersey. It's going to be a tough series, but I think the Bulls are a better team.

I like the attitude. I'm pisssed, but I'm still excited for the playoffs. Maybe this will make the team play that much harder. I don't know. I'm still excited.
