Not only that, but what did they say 40% of our home games are in April and May, while 60% are in June, July, August, September? We better get our crap together now so that we aren't facing a slew of tough road games to gain ground back. I know, we have to play the Brewers, Astros, Cards, Reds, Pirates, Nats, Braves, Mets, Phillies, Marlins, Rockies, D-Backs, Dodgers, Padres, and Giants. We're screwed. It's the NL, last I checked. I know. If we had to face more AL teams, wed really be screwed.

Why do people get all up in arms over fans getting upset over slow starts? It's the same thing every year. Slow start, MAN THIS SUCKS, hey calm down it's early, mediocre finish. Oh wait, it's too late. Why can't Cubs fans, of all fans, get jumpy over the opening series? What's the big freaking deal? Saying this needs to stop isn't going to stop it. Its that coupled with the horrible way last season came to an abrupt halt.

The problem is, the Brewers a year older and a year better, and are less likely to colapse as bad as they did last year, and with Dempster on the mound tommorow, a sweep is likely, and thats giving these guys a lot of momentum. Then we take the Wildcard! The problem with that idea is, the other 2 divisions actually have good teams.

A good team can overcome a 3 run defecit, no problem. Now where do we get one of those?

Hey Roast, a lot of people don't know that because they don't have CSN. Either way, hit and runs don't count because they are [expletive]. I don't have CSN either. and I don't think it was a hit and run. Well some of us are in Missouri so we can't do anything but watch a bunch of dots on a baseball field at mlb.com, haha. Icant even get game day at work. I can just read what you lot post and look at the MLB scoreboard and box scores.

Damn Brewers. The only reson they're able to beatus is because they're a better team than ours. Its agood thing that Scott Boras would kill his own family before allowing Prince Fielder to sign a long term deal with them.

What more can he do/prove in the minors? Let him take his lumps and see if he can mke the turn to the bigs. That would be true if he were on the Royals or Nats, but 100 years later, we dont need a guy trying to prove himself. We need an established leadoff hitter. Sure, idealy, Theriot would be replaced, but there isnt anyone available that can play short and leadoff.
