This is more like a list of names LLF remembers playing with the Cubs for brief periods of time since he started following the team than a list of one time star players. Ive been following the team none stop since 1984 when I was 8, and going to games since I was 5, thank you. These are (one time) star players who had a short, often unremarkable stint with the team. Sure, there have been more in the past, but it wasnt really until the Sosa years where the started the trend of aquiring fairly big names to help out for short periods of time.
