  1. Traditionally, after a slow start, June is when Derrek would heat up.
  2. I know the fantasy scoring system is very complex, it just made me throw up in my mouth a little seeing Swisher against Fuku.
  3. If we lose tonight, Cards could easily gain 2 on us, even with a Pujolsless lineup vs. the Natspos.
  4. Milwaukee is going into a series with Colorodo, which should be an easy sweep for them.
  5. We could get some mighty fine prospects if we let the Yanks and Red Sox have a bigging war for Zambrano.
  6. On a side note, is it me, or does Harry the Heckler look more like a serial rapist every game?
  7. Nope. Hopefully hes waiting in LA. I always think its cute when fans of sorry teams get all fired up over a meaningless win.
  8. Lets hope good Lee finally made it to San Diego.
  9. So if we get out unhurt, the balk helped us by getting rid of 1995 Greg Maddux.
  10. At least offensively, bad Lee rivals bad Soriano.
  11. with Lee, Ram, Fuku, Soto, and Edmonds, its time to open up that can.
  12. Thats easy. The Iowa Cubs, because thats where we store our stuff.
  13. because this clown sure seems to think so. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/features/column.aspx?sport=MLB&columnid=2&articleid=30474 Some of this list makes sense, but a lot seems randomly generated.
  14. I didnt know about the Kemp/Torrelba fight. Anyone up for suspension? Granted, Kemp isnt Albert Pujols, but I wouldnt mind if the Dodgers were to be without him for a few games of our series.
  15. Both the Cubs and Cards are playing above their heads right now. Both are sure to come back down to earth sooner or later. The difference is, the Cubs are clearly the better team, and by coming down to earth for the Cubs, I mean playing over .500 ball, and by coming down to Earth for the Cards, I mean playing .425-.450 ball.
  16. John Leiber could probably pitch to the Reds in Petco and only give up 2 home runs.
  17. We need to win again just to further frusterate the Brewers. 6 game(after today) win streak, and no ground made up.
  18. He'll be put in the rotation and win 20 games with a 1.80 ERA.
  19. Brewers really want to rejoin this race.
  20. team #1 = Orioles team #2 = Orioles fixed
  21. Derrek Lees on pace to be Derrek Lee. If you look at Lees career for the most part, hes on pace to have an average D-Lee season. He raised the bar for himself in his monster 2005, putting up Pujols numbers, and people expected more. When we traded the great Hee Sop Choi for him, we were expecting a .280/.375/.490 30 HR guy whose one of, if not the best defensive 1st baseman in the game. Thats who he is.
