There are just some guys who seems to get a big hit every time they come to the plate againt us. I agree swing hard, but not every pitch in the sequence. Hes been looking like bad Soriano at the plate lately.

There are just some guys who seems to get a big hit every time they come to the plate againt us. Augie Ojeda, Jeff Keppinger, Hall etc. In any case, if the Brewers have any sense, they're already shopping Hall for a decent starter or a few relievers. I could see Pittsburg as a good match if theyd be willing to move one of their young pitchers. Duke or Maholm for Hall sounds about right. -
Nothing against Geo, as Im pretty sure he will be the best catcher in the game for years to come, but is it me, or has he been swinging to the fences at every pitch lately? Granted, he would have had 2, maybe 3 HRs in most parks last night, but pitchers seem to be picking up on this, leading to his strikeout rate. I know Gerald Perry has bigger fish to fry, but I think he needs to get Geo back into a doubles machine, and when he sees that perfect meatball, let er rip.

The fact that we were able to win a game in which Jason Marquis looks bad even for Jason Marquis makes me feel that October is a step closer.

Id be willing to accept the loss if it meant that Lou finally realises that Jason Marquis has no buisness on this team. Sadly, it will not.

Micah will be back in September, and probably in next year when Edmonds, Ward, and Johnson are gone. Apparently Lou and Jim have never heard the old cliche If aint broke, dont fix it. At least they could have brought back Ascanio.
