  1. After a rough start to the season, Caridads been looking good the last few starts. Where did he come from anyway?
  2. I hate WCIU. Thats the only channel I don't get. ](*,) WGN is too busy showing re-runs of Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. *checks guide* Nope, they're new episodes. Just as bad.
  3. I suppose they could just dump Gathright, bring up a AAA reliever, and when Zambranos ready to come back, return said reliever to Iowa and bring up Jake Fox or Brad Snyder or Jason DuBois or whoever Lous heart desires.
  4. This would be a good game to win since we get Lincecum on Tuesday.
  5. It is hard for him to get hurt when he doesn't play. Why is he on the roster if he doesn't play? :banghead: Because speed doesnt slump and hes a lefty.
  6. Nice was to end it. Go Cubs Win! 3-4 from the Marlins. Now hopefully Zs OK.
  7. ? They've been showing him taking a part a baseball. He's down to the core now, and has scissors trying to cut it in half. Not as good as Lilly and the giant moth, but you gotta keep busy.
  8. Good thing he hopped, or he might not have caught that.
  9. There is a way to make them go away, but it involves hitting the baseball.
  10. At least Marmol takes care of the Marlins mashers for Gregg. Still, an insurance run or 2 would be super.
  11. Kosuke seems to have hit a bit of a rough patch. Hopefully thats all it is this time.
  12. It's going to be longer than that. Pedro missed 2 months last year with a strained left hamstring. Vernon Wells missed a month. Stephen Drew and Brenden Ryan are on the DL now with it. I'd be shocked if Z avoids the DL. Of course that depends on the severity of the sprain. If it's mild he might not even miss a start. If there's microtrauma he may have a DL stint. I'm sure he didn't do any worse than that. Which means he will miss up to 3 starts depending on how he heals. Thats why its good to have guys like Dempster and Marshall at the back end of the rotation, you can afford to lose your ace for a few starts. Hoever, if its any worse than that, like I said, go after Pedro.
  13. Nice job by Gooz with the bowels of the Marlins lineup. So will Lou go with Marmol to Gregg to finish up?
  14. Gimli looke like he could knock the cover off the ball. Miles, not so much.
  15. The funny thing is, as shaky as some of our relievers have been, none have been quite bad enough to outright dump and give Fox, Stevens, or Ascanio a shot. Well, aside from Cotts, and Lou needs his precious lefty.
  16. Lt Hammy strain..that would mean 1 missed start, right?
  17. If Lee does have to miss significant time, I say give Pedro a look see,
  18. The D Backs just tied up the Brewers, so theres that too.
  19. bunted down 3b line and pulled up lame crossing 1st. He wanted to stay in at first, and did but then they pulled him.
  20. Since there was an error, are none of the runs earned, or just Lees, or all but Fuku?
