  1. Absolutely. Id be thrilled, but even then, you have to be very cautious with him.
  2. Cantus by far the best option, with the Orioles trio and Atkins the most realistic. Im betting that once they find out what Aramis' status is, hendry will get to work. Even if Its just a 6 weeks thing, I wouldnt be opposed to Wiggington since he can play all around the field and be of use down the line.
  3. Soto looks plain bad. Even Bradley puts together some solid at bats when at his worst, but Soto has given me no reason to believe hes going to come back anytime soon, and we could really, really use him now.
  4. Soriano Theriot Lee Bradley Fukudome Fontenot Freel Soto I dont love it, but I dont hate it.
  5. If its a 6 week-2 month type of thing, you might be right, but if its more than that, I expect a move sooner than later.
  6. ASB is likely the best case scenerio.
  7. The good thing about Freel is that when healthy, hed be a great leadoff hitter. Now if only our best hitter didnt wet himself every time he was taken out of his comfort zone.
  8. Dam you Jim Hendry for trading Geovany Soto for a festering pile of horse maneur that looks exactly like Geovany Soto.
  9. What a horrible game. I hope Randy Wells smashes Heilman and Sotos faces with a brick.
  10. If he was, everyone would complain about Lou overworking him, so its a lose-lose.
  11. Good thing they completely wet themselves in another bases loaded situation.
  12. Looks like Heilmas about to give Lou further reason to exhaust Marmol.
  13. Maybe the Cardinals will send us Barden or Thursten for Lilly or Harden :pig:
  14. BAAAAD AB Ryan. Hopefully good Kosukes still in there somewhere.
  15. None of the 3 O's are putting up great numbers thus far, in fact Wigg and Mora are on the dismal side, so Im assuming theyd be pretty cheap. Wiggington is the most versatile offensively, so if Ram comes back, he could be made a utility man. Huff .274/.344/.451 4 HR Wiggington .208/.240/.260 1 HR Mora .245/.302/.367 2 HR
  16. We're going to need offense to replace him though... not defense. Beltre is a great defender but he can't hit Looking at his stats, I guess youre right. He had that monster year with the Dodgers, and who knows, maybe he was on the juice, and since hasnt been all that good. He has some power, but OPSs in the high 7s.
  17. There is 1 guy out there who could potantilly fill Rams shoes, and thats Adrian Beltre. They were considering moving him in the offseason. There doing well now, but if they were to fall off, theyd probably move him. He would come cheap by any stretch, and it would only be worth it if Ram is out for the year.
  18. Id prefer 1 of the O's trio. I dont trust Rockies out of Corrs, but hed be a solid last resort. The O's will want pitching, probably Marshall, but I doubt we'll give him up. Ascanio on the other hand might have to go.
  19. And then have less to offer for other things we need If we lose Ramirez for months, tell one thing we'll need more than a starting 3rd baseman? I'm not saying I wouldn't do it. I'm saying it still hurts us because now we have to use resources on something else Yeah, were going to have to give something up, and Im not talking Jake Fox and Neal Cotts, but its going to have to happen.
  20. Dislocated shoulder it is. Put down the bucket of chicken get your fat bum on the phone Hendry.
