Cubs arent going to have a fire sale. To sum up what Vance said, if were out of it come the dealine, we'll move some guys at the end of their contracts, but thats about it. Harden is the guy who could potentially bring us a real nice return as long as he stays relatively healthy between now and then. A fire sale suggests a rebuilding process. We have too many guys with big contracts to do that, and with Aramis in the lineup, this is an entirely different team. I am, however very curious to see what the Ricketts era brings, if and when that begins.
