    That really came out of nowhere. I knew the Brewers and Yankees wre both interested in him, but not the Tigers. I hear they wanted a lot from the Brewers, so I wonder what the Tigers give up.

    I really do think we get Teahen. I dont think the Red Sox get Halladay, but they do get either V Mart or A Gon and maybe Heath Bell with him. If anyone gets Halladay, the Rangers do, but I think he stays in Canada.

    I wonder if we do still pull off a deal for a cheap middle infielder or another bat in general today. Crazy as it sounds, Fontenot chose the worst time to have a great game yesterday and now theres no time to decide if it was a fluke or hes heating up. I guess theres always the non waiver deadline. The way I see it, it was stated that Hendry had about 3 million to work with, and Grabow probably has 1 mil left of his 2.something mil and Gorz Im assuming is league min, so Jimbo as about 1.5-1.75 mil left and we all know he likes to spend every last penny.

    I figure it would be good to have 1 thread for all of the minor deals that go to today. All the Brian Anderson for Mark Kotsay type of deals.

    This hell hole is the last place we want to go to keep the hot streak in tact, but I have faith in these guys. Landshark stadium or whatever they want to call it is to the Cubs as the Metrodome is to the Sox.

    Fukudome has just been quietly good lately, kinda like how Scottie Pippen had quiet 30 point games. Can you think of a defining Fukudome moment this year? I can't. And thats all good. Im OK with Fuku being quietly good and Lee, Ramirez, and good Soriano having the defining moments.

    Fuld is on the team plane to Florida and Atkins is not. They just haven't made the move official yet. And Gorz won't be officially called up until his 1st start. They aren't going to waste the chance to keep 8 relievers for a few days. Mitch Atkins for Adam Dunn !!!!1!!!1!!

    I guess they figure they have nothing to lose. He costs next to nothing, so if they can get something good in return, go for it, if not whatever.
