I agree. Have him do what hes doing now next year, and if he keeps doing what he has been this year offensively, he should be given the 1B jon in 2011.

They are starting to warm up. Even if taking 1-3 from the Padres and then taking a close 1 from the Dodgers is considered warming up, having your ace/only respectable starter get wife beaten in 5.1 innings ought to cool em down.

-I know he hasnt so much as been fitted for a uniform yet, but if Brooks Raley lives up to his mega hype early on, is there a chance he could be on the list, or will he have to wait until 2011? -considering LeMahieu, Castro, and Lee are all SS and similar in age, wouldnt it be wise to try and covert 1 of the 3 to 2B? Aside from Tony Thomas, we dont seem to have a top 2B prospect floating around. -
Sometimes I wonder if the team a young pitchers on has an effect on his performance, more so than just the ball park. For instance take a guy like Gorzalanny or Johnny Cueto, and if they're ona team like the Reds or Pirates, they have more pressure on them considering they know the offense isnt going to give them much to work with. On the other hand, take the same pitcher and put him on a solid offense, and they know they can give up a run or 2, and the offense can back them up. On one hand, it can lower the anxiety level and they can relax a bit, but as long as thy dont get too relaxed out there, as some pitchers do when they get a big lead behind them early on. Unfortunately for Gorz, I dont think theres much he can do to avoid Iowa once Ted Lilly comes back to take his rightful spot.

I dont know how much Mota really had to worry about considering Prince reportedly stormed the Dodgers locker room with Ryan Braun, Bill Hall, and 2 other guys, so it would have been a 25 on 5 type of deal. I think its just Prince being frustrated with his own team again, and its better for the Brewers if he go after the other teams players than his own. I think Prince really wants out of Milwaukee ASAP. -
