    Ever seen Return to Oz? The one where Dorothy is so obsessed with her dream land that she's institutionalized (and somehow, like 10 years younger;) and when she finally does return, it's an absolute bizarro-train wreck cluster [expletive] version of the magic and wonder which she longed for? Well, that. I think I'm going to have my 2 year old watch this one with me during Halloween this year. Should be fun. I don't know, it's very dark, at times very creepy. I watched it with my (then) 4 year old last year, after not seeing it myself in ages. She wasn't terrified, but there were some parts that had her turning away.

    Lou had that weird thing with Michael Wuertz though, remember that? He "disappeared" an effective (not great or dominant but effective, IIR) reliever and no one ever knew why. I thought he did the same thing to Rich Hill, but I guess he was proven right on that one. was gonna say the same thing i thought moving dempster into the rotation was [expletive] off the wall too Rich Hill completely forgot how to throw strikes. I vividly remember the last time that Lou came for him off the mound that it would be the last we'd see of him.

    Ryan Williams: full season of consistant good numbers.

    If this is based solely on 2015 performance, it's Contreras. His numbers have been not only great, but consistant all season long. The only one who could give him a run for his money would have been McKinney, had he made it through the season.

    But not long ago, BN noted that if he isn't added to the big league roster after next ST, he can opt for free agency. I'm kind of surprised that they have yet to try him out anywhere other than 3B thus far. I'd assume that any future that he has as a Cub would be in a super sub type role. Speaking of roster decisions, it's sort of interesting that they had PJ Francescan starting for Iowa. He's Rule 5 eligible, and the perfect example of a guy that somebody would pick with a Rule 5; could be stashed in somebody's pen, and perhaps be a solid middle reliever. Not somebody that we'd miss terribly, but if there were an open roster spot, and it came down to him or another Schlitter or Coke, then sure.
