  1. OK Jacque, just ground into a tailor made double play and get it over with.
  2. I know your not supposed to wish death or other horrible things on players around here, but since Dane Cook isnt a player...
  3. No, but Id gladly sneeking into a drug testing facility and replace Chris Youngs urin with that of Ricky Williams.
  4. Somebody refresh my memory. Which is the team that spent $300,000,000 in the off season and which is the rag tag band of no names?
  5. Screw you double Theriot. Hopefuly Ramirez can finally come through.
  6. Hopefully we can land A-Rod in the offseason and trade Theriot for a few AA prospects.
  7. 100% agreement with this order. Boston to me seems like the best team so I think they would be the least likely to choke. And the Angels might be without Vlad. Thats like the Cubs being without Aramis, which essentially we have. We all know how thats turned out so far. Bye bye Halos.
  8. Because you're average Sox fan makes 22,000 a year, and even 2005 only made their lives bareable for about a week.
  9. I bet TBS is just loving this. Cleveland? Colorodo? Arizona? God damn it, lets just play some Frasier re-runs instead.
  10. Now that Mannys walk off is about to land, putting the Halos in the hole, which of the 4 0-2 teams has the best chance of coming back and going to the next round?
  11. My thoughts exactly. With Zambrano as the game 4(if neccessary) starter, that would leave Ted Lilly or even Jason Marquis against Brandon Webb, and I dont like our odds in that matchup. The only thing the Cubs do better than making bad pitchers look good is making good pitchers look really good.
  12. Its not impossible, but when you have a guy who has gets the least amount of run support in the game pitching a must win situation, it doesnt look good.
  13. Does this mean the entire Marlins pitching staff and their bloated ERAs have wicked stuff too?
  14. Yes, apparently. Not like he ever played in any pressure filled games down the stretch this season. Or, for example, when he was on the team that won the World Series in '03. He batted .209 but had some huge hits. Especially against us. 1 huge hit. Thats 1 more than the entire Cubs team this series.
  15. I dont blame the Cubs. If I was making that much money to do that bad at my job, Id want to go home and spend it as soon as possible too.
  16. Maybe this series will buy little Augie Ojeda another half season in the big leagues.
  17. You know theres got to be a part of Sean Marshall, Steve Traschle, Will Ohman, Craig Monroe, and Henry Blanco that are truely enjoying this.
  18. The worst thing is theres no defining moment to commemorate this years dissapointment. No over zealous fans, no should be inning double plays, just a bunch of really bad baseball.
  19. The Cubs are really proving that they just dont belong here. Just go home and count your god damn money and dont show your faces until April. At least the Brewers would have put up some runs against these guys before falling apart in the late innings.
  20. May as well put up my 2008 World Champions avatar now.
  21. Time to burn this team to the ground and start over around Soto and A-Rod.
