You do realise that if the Cubs csnt get this done, it ends Saturday? Cubs complete lack of offense+Rich Hills least amount of run support in the majors=bad day.

I dont know who the Rockies/D-Backs NLC series will suck worse for. Cubs and Phillies fans or TBS Execs. For ratings purposes, theyd b better off with a Frasier marathon.

This game has been as dissapointing as it has been boring. Id like to say the Cubbies at least put forth a good effort, but aside from Zambrano, they really didnt.

A lot of Cubs fans might not like their odds in facing Doug Davis. His mediocre ass has owned us.

If Lee wasnt so busy slamming his bat and getting pissed at himself, he may have been able to get to first for Rodrigo.

Because he has 2 years left on his deal, and they dont want to piss him off After 99 years of futility, the Cubs shouldn't care about feelings. Marquis hurt me feelings with his mediocre pitching this year. With that said, he won't be the reason we lose the series. Plus he can pinch hit early and not cause Lou to waste a hitter. Did Hart start in the minors? He could have been the longman. He still might be. Hart has no experience starting in the bigs, let alone the playoffs. Im glad hes on the roster over Oh Man, but he needs to be in the role hes been thriving in the past few weeks, and come April, we'll see if he can start. As for Marquis over Marshall, both had dissapointing finishes to the season, but I guess Marquis' experience won him his spot. Im just glad it wasnt Trashel.

I respect Lous decision to go with some of the better younger players over some of the umproductive "experienced vets".
