    inter won serie a today with a 2-0 win over parma. (sorry seth) there were some rumblings about a new espn3 that will make a move for more soccer coverage including the epl tv rights deal here in america. i can't wait for wednesday in moscow.

    the fact the bears picked gould up off the scrap heap shows how "dime a dozen" kickers are. they shouldn't invest this much money in him, his production can be replaced for a fraction of the cost.

    i'm can't say i'm disappointed chelsea didn't win the title today, they simply didn't deserve this year. man utd was the better team throughout the year. fulham staying up is big, for no other reason than the usmnt. i can't wait for may 21st in moscow. hopefully chelsea can win one trophy this bizarre season. if drogba and terry are out, i'm not going to be optomistic.

    agreed, big thumbs down to fsc and its choice of matches today. i don't know how many choices they are able to pick from, but having chelsea on instead of the man utd is wrong. they should at least show the tape delays of relegation matches.

    badass indeed. i'm only counting 4 games that only available on espn deportes. i'm really excited for this thing to start. i'm a england fan, so i obviously don't have an rooting interest this year, but i'm looking forward to quality footie. I'm counting no games that are only available on ESPN deportes nevermind, wasn't looking at team names, just channel and times. i'm glad i was wrong.

    I actually kind of dig it. Even if we end up even on points, their goal differential wins it. Now they have Superman rested for a critical, critical Barca match. I think it was actually pretty brilliant by SAF. He needs this second European title to put him level with Busby and he doesn't care if he gets the premiership based on goal differential because in the end all he cares about is breaking Liverpool's record of 19 top flight titles and given the choice, he'll take the Champions league over the premiership every day of the week. that's a good way to look at it. i was surprised because SAF was saying all week this is the "most important" match of the season, blah, blah, blah. btw, the "superclasico"? how can it be a super classic when it's only been played for a few years?

    he used to play for the cleveland indians, couldn't hit much but could run and bunt pretty well. he strangely came back the next year and looked like omar epps instead of wesley snipes.

    sorry about the triple posting but any idea why ronaldo didn't start? i read he came in the 64th. this game was monumentally important, he must have been banged up from mid-week otherwise that's inexusable for SAF.

    this chelsea team really pisses me off. everytime i want to write them off as being finished, they suck me back in with a huge result. man utd. still needs to drop a point over their next two for chelsea to have a chance because of goal differential. chelsea away to newcastle and home to bolton. man utd. home to west ham and away to wigan. hopefully west ham can steal another one away from man utd. just like they did at the end of last season to stay in the prem.
