  1. it's like raaaiiiiinnnnnnnn, on opening day, like 2 grand slams, when you already lead
  2. why wouldn't he just take day classes?

  4. Kris Bryant was drafted in 2013, based on the 2012 records, which was the first year after Hendry was fired. It had nothing to do with whether or not tanking in 2013 and 2014 was 'worth it'.
  5. i'm calling this guy Motel Shower (only runs scorching hot / ice cold) will also work when he's included in a trade for a good pitcher (place you will randomly find a body)
  6. 4 or 5 tickets to any July game? one ticket to 4 or 5 games? 3 tickets to either July 4 or July 5? if you want cheap tickets you may want to hope they continue on a prolonged losing streak and then pick 'em up for free on game day.

  8. Not just Messi.. Argexit
  9. Somebody is too weak to start this thread. So I will. Cubs beat aces, it's what they do.
  10. Mods always edit my game thread titles for non-conformity and yet here we are
  11. Are we going back in time for this one? Lackey does have a little Biff Tannen in him and this Clemens fella could be Rogers dopey nephew.
  12. It's been reported that prior to official cap number they had a deal but after $73 was confirmed the deal died.
  13. Simmons was an entertaining entity when he was unique on Page 2 (the mustard years). But he went to horsefeathers essentially the day after the Red Sox won their first ring. He's the epitome of the awful boston fan that wants to rub the rings in everybody's face while still begging for sympathy for the heart break he's suffered. He's also a one trick pony, comparing anything in a sport to something in pop culture, and it's is the same 3 things that get compared. He's not the voice of the regular fan. He's gone the way of Reilly, King and all the rest, celebrity writers who try and make themselves the story. I cannot see any reason why somebody would follow him anymore. His voice alone is a good reason to stay away.
  14. oh, is this the thread where we admit all our fears and trepidation about where this season is heading? http://i.imgur.com/ybFghGD.gif
  15. a real catch 22 situation for our beantown friend over here. This upcoming 15 game winning streak is going to put a dent in his plans. just ask butters how easy it is to rise from obscurity to become beloved

  17. the kid from modern family
