I've gotten to the point now where I would be disappointed a very slight bit if LaFleur is not the head coach with Kubiak as the OC. Isnt Kubiak retired? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/former-broncos-head-coach-gary-kubiak-open-to-a-return-as-an-offensive-coordinator/ Recent reports say he is open to coming back as an OC. Being a HC was too hard on his health.

I've always been take it or leave it with him. There's nothing special about him. He's not a mastermind. He is a competent DC. He is replaceable. Get the head coaching and offensive coaches right.

the league where horsefeathers teams struggle to win 4 games in a full season? or accidentally win 7 games because of parity and an only 16 game schedule variance can swing a season winning percentage much more than in any sport. two plays can literally be the difference between a .500 or a .375 winning percentage. the bears will not make those 2 plays.
