In my mind I remember a gasp in the crowd when Kane does his little shake and bake in the corner. Watching highlights it sounds like they let out a groan when Campbell kept it in, then the excitement/anxiety built up quickly when Kane got it and then started toward the net. From being in the house for Game 3, I can only assume there were a bunch of shrill voiced women yelling, "HIT HIM" and some surly men berating their team's inability to clear/reacquire the puck. At first I thought Boynton was trying to stop Kane from going down the ice because he didn't know what was up, but now it looks like he was one of the guys who knew, and given his position, he probably should have seen it.
