Yes. Yea that's kinda weird. I don't think it makes you a bad Cubs fan, but people really need to drop this notion that their intentionall fielding mediocre teams, and the only way that we as fans can knock some sense into them is with tough love and stop going to the games. I don't think it matters wether it's intentional or not. I'm certainly not that excited about our chances this year, not any more so than last year. The pitching should be good but the hitting won't be enough to win enough games to put us in the playoffs. they really didn't do anything to improve it. The only real exciting thing they did during the offseason was to add Garza and did so at great cost. Combine these things with usual poor weather, and that's why you have less than stellar ticket sales for opening day. I don't really know that I'd shell out the money to go this year either.
