    What's the point of having rules if your going to just randomly allow people to break them whenever. They had the same amount of time to sign him as every other team had to sign their draft picks. If they let them sign him now... wtf

    I thought I read somewhere that his thumb was in a splint a couple days ago? Maybe just a jammed thumb? That's what people were saying, had me worried. Obviously must be ok now. Hopefully he'll be back in there regularly r the rest of use year.

    What's wierd is that he will work to 2-2 or 3-2 counts then just swing at some terrible pitch out the zone. It's not like he just goes up there and swings at 3 terrible pitches in a row. I think that the fact he's working into deep counts much of the time is at least some kind of positive sign.

    I'd love to go out there for a couple weeks but it's not financially feasible sadly. I'm going to try to make the trip out there this spring for spring training for the first time next year though. Yeah, it's obviously easier when you're one state away. My wife is a Cubs fan but even then, it was a Veteran's Day weekend trip to the Grand Canyon first and foremost. Phoenix just is not a fun destination otherwise. I think we may make the road trip and stop at some interesting places along the way like the Grand Canyon ect. More fun for the kids that way. Florida is sadly a long way from Arizona.

    Man spring training is going to be hella fun next year. I think Im going to make my first trip out there during spring break with my kids this year.

    They said it was a minor injury yesterday. I never could find an update after it happened and then he wasnt in the lineup today made me a little nervous, its good to see he's ok. Looked like he was grabbing at his hamstring after the diving play in the 9th last night.

    Did anyone ever see an update on Almora's status after being pulled last night and not being in the lineup today? I haven't seen anything about his injury anywhere.
