That basicly just counts people who are watching CSN? or does it somehow include people with mlb subscription packages? I can't imagine many people outside the Chicago area can get CSN right? I know I can't. Seems like WGN games would be a better indicator of what a large nationally availible network could expect for ratings. You aren't getting a large nationally available network to bid on the Cubs, unless you account the national availability of regional sports networks via Extra Innings. The money is going to be based on the revenue such a network would expect to draw in Chicago. Well that sucks. One of the that I hate about extra innings is that it's on a delay and I'm getting updates on myphone before I see them on the screen. Seems like a national network would see the Cubs as a huge opportunity, but then again I don't really know squat about the business of national cable broadcast tv. If you are watching the games why don't you just not stare at your phone at the same time? Right, I could just pretend it's live. Never thought of that...
