It was actually less graphic than I had expected. There was no blood visible. You can see where the ball hit his face but you didn't get an idea of how bad it was until the aftermath and when they showed him on the ambulance cart on the way the field and the swelling and blood had set in. I hope he comes back quickly and is the same player but this type of thing tends to change the player and his approach at the plate. They are going to have to rebuild his face and then he's going to have to face the phycological challenge of getting back into the batters box with the memory of having his face crushed in the back of his mind. You see blood pouring from his face as he's laying on the ground Ack! Glad I missed that

Not sure what he had to argue about there looked right down the middle on the upper half of the strike zone but all ofhe plate. Maybe Baez needs glasses lol
In 99 and 2000 there were 30+, other years in that range looks like around 15-20 a year. Yup it's because of the way the strike zone has changed. They put on the computers and trained the umps to call the lower strike it completely changed the game. The strike zone is larger now forcing hitters to swing at pitches they didn't before to protect the zone. citation needed I imagine this is what he's alluding to: http://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2014/09/baseball-is-boring-and-this-camera/379443/ Exactly

There are pictures of rookie dress up day being posted on twitter, if I knew how to post pics here I'd post em. Soler as superman, Schilter as Wonder Woman amoung others.
Someone said it was 7 straight ABs (noting that he walked twice in that span) Anyways, nothing you can do but keep sending him out there and helping him figure it out Oh, well bad anyway... ugg yup hopefully he figures it out soon
Meh. Get the ups and downs out of the way this year. Consistent greatness next year. Would like to see Baez show a pulse at some point this month though instead of looking completely lost. He hasn't been looking completely lost. He has today
