    The more I look at the SD/Preller situation, the less I understand and actually think he's delusional enough to think they can make the playoffs. He's got expiring contracts for guys like Kennedy and Venable and just holds onto them in a season like this? That's just wasteful and foolish. He had an opportunity to turn them into assets (even minor ones) and instead just took nothing. I honestly don't get it.

    Not surprised they didn't have to give up Wheeler. I am still stunned Preller and the Pads stood pat. The claims that the actual reason was that Preller is convinced they can make the playoffs seems too insane to be real to me. Strikes me as something said more to appease fans/media.
