    Yup... The Cubs are still only 4 games back in the loss column (and have played 2 fewer games than MIL). Cincy is down 6-5 to COL after 6. No shutdown pitching for either team. Thom Brennaman has been NLC scoreboard watching throughout the game.

    I'd bet the Yankees are paying far more per win right now than are the Cubs. Well that's why I said the Yankees are going to turn it around. But it turns out I'm still wrong, we have very little chance of breaking any records. Oh well, I guess this season is destined to be mediocre in every sense. Still doesn't rule out a wildcard, though... The divison race has been decided?
