  1. Thank you!
  2. Would anyone please link the website with the tv maps?
  3. Jared Cook vs Ari/Zach Sudfeld @ Buffalo?
  4. I'm in a 10 team league of friends that had a newcomer draft Brandon Marshall and the Bears D at the turn. Now there a few teams that are overly stacked. I was drafting 9th. RGIII Jamaal Charles Alfred Morris Reggie Bush Demaryius Thomas Victor Cruz Jared Cook Pats D Matt Bryant Daryl Richardson Pierre Garcon James Jones Michael Vick Zach Sudfeld Justin Blackmon Jordan Cameron I drafted Leveon Bell and dropped him after his injury to grab a 3rd TE.
  5. Apparently there's mutual interest between the Pacers and Chris Copeland. Upgrading their outside shooting while filling their need for a backup at the 1 and 4 looks to be the Pacers' primary off-season plan. That and re-signing David West.
  6. Solid move on what should be a pretty cheap deal. DJ Augustin was dreadful last year, outside of a few games where his 3 pointers were falling.
  7. They're usually pretty quick. But I'd say they are slightly ahead of schedule. Signings usually come next week IIRC.
  8. Nothing groundbreaking, but still some good insight on Kyle Long from an Oregon Ducks blogger who watched every game: http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2013/4/30/4283056/nfl-draft-chicago-bears-kyle-long-oregon-ducks
  9. I came across this stat regarding Greene: You have to factor in competition there. But as a former FS who has shown ability to intercept and defend passes, he's the perfect LB to have in the pass-happy NFL. Reading more on him really tempered the concerns I had doubling down on LB. Not that it means much, but pre-draft I thought he was the Bears possible 2nd round pick, to boot.
  10. I'm not sure I've ever had the exact same opinion as Mel Kiper Jr before.
  11. You're missing the most important phase of the game. Blue-chip special teams play.
  12. Just grab swope. Trade down 10 spots for a 7th round pick? Idiotic.
  13. I really like Bostic. Plays fast and can handle the inside.
  14. Well as impossible as that is, would certainly be fantastic.
  15. That he stopped doing it and let his terrible son Chris start.
  16. I'm not saying I wouldn't have chosen Floyd. I just didn't think they were going to invest a 1st rounder there with the needs on the offensive side. I could see them say, drafting Kawann Short if he falls to them in the 2nd.
  17. Surprised Walter hated the pick so much considering this is his own positional analysis. Yeah Floyd fell, but I didn't think the Bears would spend a 1st round pick at DT. Melton will be paid and Paea is very solid. Would love to see Idonije back, but it helps that they can put Peppers on the inside. I would have chosen Eifert myself. But I don't hate the Long pick. Would have much rather had him than Pugh.
  18. There's no question about potential. If he had played football longer he likely is a consensus 1st rounder. Athletically he's ready for the NFL. I have faith Kromer can develop him and he will even eventually supplant Bushrod at LT and help the interior in the meantime.
  19. Emery said Long was the best lineman at the senior bowl. And Kromer adored the man apparently. Looks like they plan for him to compete at G immediately and eventually become an OT, apparently even LT. I'm intrigued and hoping they're not dumb. But Kromer is smarter than most about lineman, and the OL needed the help. I know Slauson has played C before, that could make this move even more interesting. I don't wanna get into the value stuff, but with no 3rd rounder they can't move up in the 2nd without dangling future picks. I know the need for LB/CB/DT is there, but I'd like to see them pick up someone like Ryan Swope today. I still want to see an offensive weapon they can put in the slot. Especially with Bennett and Jeffrey's injury history.
  20. Damn, they really loved Long.
  21. Eifert was who I wanted there. But after Pugh went, Long immediately popped into my mind as a possible pick. Can play on the interior quickly and move to T if the need arrives.
  22. Yeah, that would certainly be 1 draft scenario I'd love to see.
  23. Te'o at 20? Glennon at the top of the 2nd? I'm already tired of rumors.
  24. If that's true, Kiper has been all over that for some time. At least I have time to prepare myself for Te'o as the Bears 20th pick.
