  1. Was with the Broncos last year and was drafted by Fox in 06' with the Panthers. Ranked 15th overall at the C position last year according to PFF, 2nd in pass blocking. His run blocking prowess seems to have dipped from his last year as a Redskin but that ability is there too. Felt like Garza would be a Bear until he retired.
  2. Only 1 [expletive] way to find out
  3. Whatever ridiculous things maddux was doing in his prime, most likely. 2-seamers 4 life.
  4. There are the obvious issues. But if we take the Baez being a 50-50 decision on making the major league club as has been reported. Did Boras' railing on Bryant's service time issues sway the decision into Baez being sent down along with him?
  5. Not much worth in pointing out he's an idiot but, he's an idiot.
  6. I skimmed it, but I believe it was Josh Norris on Twitter the other day saying there are around 15 for sure 1st round guys and then there's a little bottoming/evening out if you will. With a higher amount of 2nd round grades than usual. If I'm remembering that correctly, I could see wanting to nab an extra 2nd round talent. But it makes me just want to stay put and give yourself the best chance at an All-Pro.
  7. Arod
  8. In football terms only, he's a great signing.
  9. Brad Biggs @BradBiggs · 28m 28 minutes ago #Bears have agreed to terms with DE Jarvis Jenkins on a 1-year contract. It will be official after he passes his physical later today.
  10. In my completely lacking opinion as it comes to the draft; it looks like White has risen to somewhat of a consensus #1 at the position and despite Oakland's pass-rushing needs, they have a young QB in Carr in desperate need of a weapon. Simple choice IMO. I pray to football Jesus that Cooper falls to #7 (I would take him over White) and Pace runs to the podium.
  11. Buy the safeties. Draft the CB's.
  12. ‏@RVacchianoNYDN I see some reports that S Ron Parker is planning to visit the Chicago Bears tonight. I also hear the Giants are still in the mix for him.
  13. Royal would be a good pickup.
  14. Rolle isn't the prototypical fit at 32 years old obviously but man will it be nice to have a real S again. IIRC he was out there with Peppers 5 years ago and I was really hopeful he was coming along as well. Completely shocked at the Graham and Ngata trades. No matter what the Bears do they're not getting past the Seahawks.
  15. I would be more than happy to see someone that can move Fuller or Jennings into the slot. Fuller's struggles could likely extend into his soph season more than hoped and Jennings is on the decline. Chris Culliver would be ideal. There are so many holes it really doesn't hurt to add anywhere.
  16. I think going another year without a rangy FS will be another year of exposing the CB's. But, they don't grow on trees and the highest rated S in the draft is supposedly more of a SS type. Will have to bank on the pass rush again and it's hard not to see Rodgers' tearing up the secondary again in his sleep. But improvement back there at all cannot be understated. Not sure how FS played in Fangio's system.
  17. I'm not against bringing in another edge rusher with #7. But I have more faith in Fangio than anyone - using FA and a year to make existing pieces fit on D is enough to make me want Cooper with their 1st pick. I'm extremely happy to see possible upgrades with the oline already in the fold.
  18. When Jeffrey gets hurt again it'll be Hartline and Wilson starting at WR. Or worse. Probably worse.
  19. Even with the buffer time of knowing he'd very likely be moved - it's still incredibly disappointing. Probably for a 4th rounder or something too.
  20. Also just realized all the 3-4 front stuff will bring another offseason of shea talk
  21. Chudzinski is available in a week. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/21/colts-can-only-block-rob-chudzinski-for-one-more-week/
  22. (nvm, they changed it to 84) http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=Standings If that plays out, Cubs would be @PIT for the Wild Card game. And would score the 2nd most runs in the NL. [expletive] YES! 3rd most? Behind Rockies and Nats?
  23. Sending Marshall away is a big mistake. I don't like any response other than he's here to stay.
