  1. Games that matter most to the Cubs (all times Central Standard Start Times): Milwaukee (Bush) @ Atlanta (Morton) - 6p [televised live on both FSN Wisconsin (ch 642 on DirecTV) & PeachTree TV (ch 617, D*)] St Louis (Looper) @ Detroit (Rogers) - 6:05p [on both FSN Midwest/FSNMW-HD (647/647-1, D*) & FSN Detroit/FSND-HD (636/636, D*)] Games that won't matter much to the Cubs, but might be kinda interesting nonetheless: Arizona* (Davis) @ Boston (Masterson) - 6:05p [on both FSN Arizona (649, D*) & NESN/NESNHD (623/623, D*)] Philadelphia* (Moyer) @ Oakland (Blanton) - 9:05 [on both CSNBA/CSNBA-HD (696/696-1, D*) & CSNBA-Alt (697, D*)] White Sox (Buerhle) @ LA Dodgers (Lowe) - 9:10p [ on both CSNC/CSNC-HD (640/640, D*) & FSNPT/FSNPT-HD (694/694, D*)] - GO DADGERS!!! * - Other NL Divsions' leaders
  2. To play off that, I forget what it was, but I think either just before the TOR series, in the TOR series, or TB series; the string was snapped, of 20-some straight games that the Cubs had a lead in - or Len kept reminding us (not that I minded being kept in the know of such a stat).
  3. That's another point about this "magical ride" of a half-season... when the Cubs do lose, its by a run or 2 (save for the occasional aberration like the last night in TB).
  4. :-# Beermakers! :x That's alright though, we'll fix that stat with the remaining home games we have with them.
  5. Other than the series in TB, and overall road record, this has just been one magical half-season (up to this point). We're doing it with the bats, pitching (for the most part), beating bad teams like we should, playing extremely well at home. Its just been a very fun ride for these first 76 games. It is soooo nice going into any game and feeling like we have a pretty legit shot to at least be extremely competitive, let alone of winning. :yahoo:
  6. Finally a WS fan with a lick of sense!
  7. Fixed Fixed again. :D :clapping:
  8. We were up 4.5 games like 2 weeks ago. *grumbles* Good for nothing, Boston, should be a 5.5 game buffer.
  9. "Hello 4.5 game lead in the division, how good to see you!"
  10. Cubs are playing an even .800 at home. That is ASTOUNDING! And please God let it continue! \:D/
  11. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!! EAT IT, Sox!!!!!!!! :yahoo: :clapping: \:D/ =D>
  12. "GIDP hung up, tired of waiting. Now 'Game-Ending StrikeOut' is waiting for you to answer."
  13. At the risk of getting banned, that joke will have to be left sitting on the tee.
  14. Howry; there's a GIDP waiting for you on Line 1, please pick up!
  15. Same commercial in the span of 3.5 minutes... yeah, this game needs to end ASAP.
  16. Un-buh-leavable. Stupid Swisher! CMON DEMPS... put 'em in the dumpster and let's get out of here!!!
  17. Jermaine Dye is steadily climbing the "Unlikeable" ladder.
  18. Yeah, 22 runs in a 3-game series is clearly underachieving. What a bunch of sorry sacks these Cubs are offensively!!
  19. Like I said earlier, no matter what Morgan is talking about, I feel much dumber for just having listened to it.
  20. *listening* *listening*........ Wait... I still hear chirping from the South Side organization....... nope, sorry, just crickets.
  21. Speed kills. Awesome series, EPatt! :yahoo:
  22. Batting for himself, anywho. Maybe Lou is going "classy" here and not bringing up a PH, with a 5-run lead late?
