  1. Connor Jackson wins it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6-5 AZ WIN!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Hudson doubles and what!? Upton stopped at 3rd!!! Just 5-4 now, but guys on 2nd & 3rd, and STILL no outs! CMON D'BACKS!!! :beg:
  3. Upton singles. Men on 1st & 3rd, still no outs. 5-3 MIL, b9
  4. Dammit. That had "MEAT BALL" written all over it and Upton totally wiffed on it.
  5. Fake rally time in the desert.... WEEE!!! Although, still no outs and another guy in scoring position at 2nd, after he cleared the bases with a 2B; 5-3... :-s
  6. 5-0 Brews on a Cameron job. This is soooo laughable.
  7. For more NL West ineptness talk... Of the 11 non-divisional teams, only the Nats and Reds have -.500 records vs the West; 2-8 and 7-11, respectively. All 9 other teams are above .500 vs the NL West.
  8. If the score holds, there will not an above-.500 team in the West after today's games. That is pathetic.
  9. And on the other side of the coin, remember how the NL Central race last year was better termed "Survival of the Best of the Worst"? Its an actual division race this year (currently). Cubs have the best record in the NL, but are in one of the closest and most heated divsional battle in their own league, and the Majors. Its been stated before, but both the Cards and Brewers would be the divisional leaders ,currently, if in either of the East or West NL divisions right now. StL (2.5 in East on Philly & 6.5 in West on 'Zona) and MIL (0.5 in East on Philly & 4.5 in West on 'Zona).
  10. And off a broken bat at that. God hates the Northsiders.
  11. 3-0 on a Hardy HR. :banghead:
  12. Brewers run themselves into a DP on a groundout to the pitcher. Pickled the runner between 3rd & home, and batter thrown out at 2nd trying to advance. End of inning, but enough damage done. 2-0 Brewers, mid-2
  13. 2-0 on a Ribby ground out from Kendall. Guy on 3rd, 1 down.
  14. 1-0 on a WP. Still no outs. Guys on 2nd & 3rd now. CMON WEBB!!! :x
  15. Bags full, no outs for the Beerdrinkers. T2. Ugh. #-o
  16. Brewers (Parra) vs D'backs (Webb) - 2:40p CST [on both FSN WI, ch 642 & FSN AZ/HD, ch 686/686-1 on DirecTV] Mets (Pelfrey) vs Cards (Boggs) - 7:15p CST [on both SNY/HD, ch 625/625 & FSN MW/HD, ch 647/647-1 on D*] (All other games can be discussed as well - LAD @ HOU starts a little after 1p CST, for instance) C'mon D'backs and Mets, do your fricking jobs!!
  17. Now you all know why I hardly ever watch SNB. Joe Morgan is to the analysis of baseball; as a magnifying glass, combined with the sun, is to ants. And maybe its all the years spent working with him, but Jon Miller isn't much better anymore. Like from tonight's game, the GIDP that Cedeno was called out on at first, but clearly beat the throw; "I don't know, Jon. I'd like another angle of that play, to see if Cedeno's foot hit the bag before the ball hit the glove." Gee, ok, Joe. Nevermind the simple fact, in slo-mo replay, that Cedeno has "possibly" hit the bag when the ball is still a few inches from the glove, and is going "through" the base as its entering the 1B's mitt, aka throw not yet been secured. [-(
  18. The very saddest thing of all; of the 3 games I felt best about, based on our scheduled SPs, today was our best chance at winning. And Dempster came out and pitched his worst game of the year, along with HORRIBLE defensive efforts behind him (mostly coming from LF).
  19. We better damned hope that KC takes at least 2 of the games, cause the Cubs' chances of winning 2 of 3 this weekend are looking seriously nil right now, heck even just 1 of 3 would be a bargain at this point.
  20. And now the Sox fans will be able to say how last weekend was just an aberration and they really are the best team in Chicago - although we know its false. Feel sorry for any SouthSide Cubs fans tonight. :(
  21. Don't have to worry about doing something abnormal now. Out. Have fun killing yourselves whoever and stay and watches this joke.
  22. I agree, but when you're gonna leave a guy out in LF who is going to continually give the WS bases and runs, what's it really matter how good the pitcher isn't? Unless he Ks everyone, he's just asking for shaky D behind him today (or so it seems).
  23. If we get out of this half-inning not down 8-0, I'll do something that I would never normally do.
  24. (errr, he was safe) BUT, how many times does the ump make the safe call when the ball beats the runner by that much??? F U, Fairchild!!!
