  1. Not sure I want to see Marmol (don't know if he's back, or close, to where he was), even with a nice lead to work around, so who do "you" get up to work the 9th? Or do you roll the dice and let Demps at least come back out and start the inning?? Oh, and great work getting around the leadoff 2B, Demps!!!
  2. AJP = still a punk, but a tolerable punk when he goes 0-4 and never gets the ball out of the infield! =D>
  3. I know the only way to fix a pitching problem is to work out of it... but is Marmol really needed tonight? Of course, now that Demps is looking like sudden "ugh", its possible.
  4. Thome in a non-game tying or winning AB... haha. And of course he 2Bs, but hey... cmon Demps. Let's go 1-2-3 real quick now.
  5. Huh. He fouled off at least 5 balls, as in pitches that would not have resulted in strikes.
  6. Just wait til we win 2 of 3 next weekend at The Cell! Krist Ryan... ugh. :banghead:
  7. Dotel = 40 pitches (and counting) in this inning =D>
  8. Errors are your friends, White Sox!!
  9. It did miss DeRo's bat... looked different in live action.
  10. DAMMIT! He made a strong bid for it though! Cmon DeRo... do us something good tonight!
  11. Soto going deep here would be the ultimate "rubbing Ozzie's face in it" move here... CMON GEO!!!! :beg:
  12. How does the first baseman have anything to do with a balk? Don't you remember Lilly being called on that when throwing to first when Lee was not on the bag, err, "not in a position to receive a pickoff throw"?
  13. Chipper who??? ARAM!!! 6-1 - way to get that run back!
  14. Swisher wasn't on the bag... isn't that a balk?
  15. Thank GOD the wind is idle tonight... that floats out with any help at all.
  16. "Cubs are really good this year, but the league overall is not as good, so that makes them a favorite to get to the World Series." Thanks for unhidden backhanded crap, Morgan. =; Cmon Demps... alright... 2 down, now lets cut this crap and sing!!
  17. I have a feeling that the Cubs will get it together on the road. They obviously wont be as good as they are at home, but they'll end up over .500 on the road. The thing about it is, the Cubs haven't played bad on the road for the most part - bats can take a long time to come around sometimes - they just don't have that "magic" in those games that they do at home. I agree. They might not finish over .500 on the road, but I think they will finish between .470 and .500. I hate to put the cart before the horse, especially with this organization, but damn would be it be nice to see the number 100(+) in that left hand column at the end of the season.
  18. You always want to have home field advantage anyways, but wow do we ever need to see the NL win the AS Game this year. You know, just in case the Cubs might be playing in late October........ just in case. :-$
  19. This is the same fan base that produced a drug addict father/son combo to attack a Royals' base coach, so I'm not the least bit surprised. Meh, Cub fans shouldn't talk about drunken incidents. Just go back to the Colorado game last year with Howry. I know fans at Wrigley aren't perfect angels, but running out to attack opposing coaches? Only on the South Side.
  20. White Sox have dug their own graves this weekend. You made your beds, now lie in them Sox!
  21. Somebody take the shoelaces from Hawk... he is officially on ******* watch.
  22. This is the same fan base that produced a drug addict father/son combo to attack a Royals' base coach, so I'm not the least bit surprised.
  23. You know its gonna happen next week, and then when we retaliate (if Lou stoops to it), it'll work against us.
  24. Edmonds used up his mojo for the series yesterday, in one inning? We want Jimmy Ballgame back!
