  1. Yeah, but Theriot almost became the most hated man in Chicago. Ping: Mr Steve Bartman, please pick up the blue courtesy phone  haha, good point.
  2. Yeah, but Theriot almost became the most hated man in Chicago.
  3. Nope. I'm watching it locally but I just checked the feed; it's not on. Thx. MLB.TV makes me does this----> ](*,)
  4. Well, it was a problem that started this season...
  5. I don't understand. Why are we sacrificing ABs for a pitcher (lord knows they need them) just so Walker can get time? And why is Ward playing in RF when he should be the DH and Soriano should be using every opportunity he has to work on his defense.
  6. Larry is going to be POed his pitchers aren't getting ABs.
  7. I still remember last year's iteration of the cubs putting up 16 on opening day. I am feeling pretty good that this is a real offense, though. You got me there. I was pumped after we put up 16 on Opening Day.
  8. This is a real breath of fresh air after last season.
  9. Is he a good LB? Haven't heard anything on him. 35th pick in '06 draft from Miami (Florida). http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/2006/draft/players/47850.html http://blog.washingtonpost.com/nfldraft/
  10. You'll know after this season.
  11. He was only a rookie, but apparently that was the best he will probably ever be, and he choked in the biggest stage in cubs history this side of 1908...sorry if that offends anyone or is too harsh on the then 21 year old. As they say, you live by the sword you die by the sword, i'm happy for his overall first year but he came up just a little short in the biggest situation of the year(s). (though alex gonzalez could have helped out just a little) If Prior didn't flat out dominate like he did, we wouldn't have been there in the first place. He came up a little short? That's debatable whether or not he caused the Cubs to lose that night. I didn't see and of the veterans step up and save the day. But Prior had the audacity to get injured. Freaking jerk. Let's burn down his house while we're at it.
  12. I'll never forget what Prior did for me in '03. He could take $25MM of the Cubs' money from now to eternity. I'll still love him. It's frustrating seeing what has become of him, but I won't throw him under the bus like so many other Cub fans.
  13. Good and I hope he stays pissed! It's been awhile since we saw a pissed off Prior. A pissed off pitcher with a 88 mph fastball is BP waiting to happen.
  14. Wow, minor leaguers are ripping Miller apart.
  15. Guess not leadoff 2b. Thankfully the DBacks decided to spot us an out. Thx guys.
  16. Paul Sullivan is such a pathetic hack. It comes from being such a talentless ugly midget.
