    I want to let it be known I haven't read anything since my last post in here, but just in case this hasn't been pointed out; the Cubs are trading their only Jews.

    I reallllly hope we don't get Crisp. Talk about unnecessary. Crisp adds nothing to this team.

    Can't argue with that choice, but I prefer the Rockies game, in which the Cubs blew the lead and came back and won it in the bottom of the ninth. I still have that game thread in my faves, cause the range of emotion was extreme. I prefer that game too, but that's probably just because I was in attendance.

    It's not curious because it's not reality. Someone around here spun a quote into stone, folks on this board echoed the opinion, and after a few days it turned into NSBB reality (which is not actual reality). Go back to direct quotes from Piniella or Hendry and show me the one that says Dempster is definitively penciled in as a #3 (or any slot) starter. All I've seen is quotes that state Dempster will be tried/stretched in ST as a potential starter. I've heard both Len and Pat say that Dempster will be the #3 starter. If it's just NSBB speak, it's influencing a lot of people.

    I always thought the opposite. Didn't the Cardinals give up on him because Duncan and LaRussa had gotten tired or his attitude? Really? I was completely unaware. Well, good riddance Jason.
