Uh, where the hell are all the fans? I know Ryan Dempster's starting, but did that really make them give up their tickets?

I'm just guessing but it's probably because Ryan Theriot has outperformed Ronny Cedeno at the major league level. Just a guess... If Theriot is just short of terrible, that makes Cedeno what - far short of terrible then? This is not a difficult argument. Ryan Theriot is a below average baseball player - we all know that. However, he is the best shortstop the Cubs have and better than Cedeno. No, it makes Cedeno a pretty unknown quantity whose floor is Ryan Theriot's ceiling.

That would earn him more time in the rotation. Do not want. 15-12 win would be ideal. Dempster gives up all 12 in the first, with Lieber coming in and no hitting the Crew the rest of the way.

I'd switch Theriot and Pie. Otherwise, looks good.

Theriot's one of my most liked Cubs in a while. So is Ryan Dempster. I don't want either one of them in the roles that they currently have. In fact, I'm not sure I want Ryan Theriot on the roster if the alternative is Matt Murton.

I'm not pushing the panic button, but I expect us to lose every game Dempster starts and that's not going to change just because it'd be nice to get the win.
