  1. I was dreading the blowout, but the heartbreaking back and fourth loss this is almost inevitably going to be is going to suck even worse.
  2. Are we seriously going to strand the leadoff double?
  3. He stole 3rd yesterday Also, I kinda like the concept of the pitcher not having to hit next inning. I think I'm one of the few here that loves the DH. I hope the NL implements it at some point. Watching Z hit is awesome, but he's the exception.
  4. It's nice that he didn't give up runs, but Thome and Crede both smoked the ball.
  5. Wrong What am I wrong about? He's gotta settle in He... shouldn't settle in?
  6. I think the Sox are gonna blow it wide open this inning. Not a particularly bold prediction, but still.
  7. He ANNIHILATED that pitch. Give me a break.
  8. Jeeze, I thought the umpire was going for an extremely delayed strikeout call.
  9. If Edmonds can just reach base I have a really good feeling about Geo's chances.
  10. I know I'm not the only one who really likes what Ascanio brings to the table. I hope he sticks this time.
  11. Aramis does not have a good approach today.
  12. That's a funny post and wrong as well. Show me which NSBB guidelines he breaks? . I would assume trolling w How about being a troll? =; Yeah, he's an annoying troll, which is why you should put him on the ignore list like I think a lot of us had. The ignore list was MADE for CubsGM.
  13. Boring isn't the word I'd choose. I'd say infuriating. And we're completely letting Vazquez off the hook, negating the high pitch count in the first inning.
  14. I've been on the 2 starters train for a couple weeks. Get one of the bigger guys (CC, Harden, Burnett) and get a back of the rotation guy in someone like Wolf or Maddux. You could probably get either of those guys for something real cheap, plus they should be better than the back end of our rotation right now (even though Gallagher has been good lately). I really don't think there's anything to worry about concerning Gallagher. He's just having a bad day.
  15. This is frustrating. Losing is one thing, but it looks like we're going to get blown out again, and probably swept.
  16. I don't think we have much of a chance tomorrow, so if we want to avoid the sweep, now's the time.
  17. I get what people are saying about Hill but is anyone actually expecting him to pitch for us this year? He's been ruined, IMO. I think there's pretty much no chance he contributes this year. Who knows about the future.
  18. I'm almost certain we're in the midst of a really rough stretch.
  19. Whoever said that D-Lee swings at literally everything low is absolutely right. That was awful.
  20. Yeah, at least offensively, Soto is not quite the god everyone expected him to be. It's cause the league has figured him out. And he hasn't made the adjustments. He's showing signs of breaking out of the slump lately. He's been hitting the ball hard. The real problem is that he's not drawing walks anymore.
