    I'm sure that Lynx of mine was destroyed in the junkyard 5 years after I bought it. My current vehicles are a Ford 150 and a Mazda MPV. Love the Ford and I hate the Mazda with an utter passion. the mazda is a ford . . .

    Hendry was mocked for saying the hill/dunn thing, he could still exercise his right to hyperbole and say it again. of course he isn'trading hill for dunn, the reds wouldn't do the deal! :)

    its amazing to me that baseball writers continue to completely ignore park effects.

    I'm not sure Hall catches the ball well enough for Hendry to have much interest. All kidding aside, he is brutal in the field. He will snag the occasional ESPN highlight, however...his day to day defense makes Walker look like a Gold Glove. Brewers have a nice foundation, I would argue there are many more questions to be answered by their roster than ours, yet some on this board seem to think they have the makings of a better team than the Cubs. Go Figure... didn't they win more games last year? I would say that lends some creedence to the idea that they are a better team. They certainly look like they are building a better corps than the Cubs.

    I guess whether he gets people out is more important to me than whether scouts think he has great stuff. not that I wouldn't trade corey for him as there are always Carpenters out there.

    I think trading prior probably a 50 percent chance of being very regrettable. There has to be another reason that Hendry would move Prior outside of the fact he could get a little more expensive than anticipated. And it better be a darn good reason. Of course, it's only speculation right now, so... I sure wish they had traded guzman three years ago . . . if he trades zambrano, then I something something

    Hendry probably looks at the above .500 W-L record and gets all excited, the mope. I really question Hendry's ability to judge talent at this point. how could you?!?!? Meche is like most cubs pitchers - he can't throw strikes. only he doesn't k a lot of batters.

    I don't think manny will get traded. going to NY would seem to obliterate all his stated reasons for wanting to get traded too.

    Hard to say without knowing inside information - it often seems like jim shows his hand too much too early. or he may just be playing it smart and not rushing things.

    I would start Eric at Daytona but be ready to move him up given his age and experience.
