  1. lol, the big ten officials have never seen anyone so fast.
  2. And he's surrounded by a ridiculous amount of talent. I'd bet that if you give him an average college back and just above average recievers, you'd see a big difference in the results. Reggie Bush is the catalyst in this offense, not Leinart. he's no peyton manning, but I think he could be very successful in the right situation. good grief is bush fast.
  3. the texas D looks like they are getting worn down.
  4. yea, they've contained bush pretty well.
  5. he looks a lot like him so far in the 2nd half. randle-el was unstoppable in college and had virtually no players to help him. he was absolutely an amazing one man show.
  6. you must have never seen randle-el in college.
  7. thank goodness that interview was short.
  8. If I were an NFL GM, I would take Young over Leinart without a nanosecond of hesitation. How do you suppose he'll fit into an NFL offense? You'll have to design a scheme for him to maximize his talents. I'm not sure, but I'll take the more talented player. I think Leinart is good, but a product of a good system rather than a great QB. That's what they said about Montana.
  9. wow, kickers are bad lately. Vick seems quicker than Young but not as durable. When SC blitzed their dbs in the first half they looked like kids trying to tackle dad.

  11. He reminds me of Randle-El except bigger and stronger.
  12. Because it was. they only call those on punts - so you won't see another one in this game.
  13. here we go! the exact opposite of last night's game!
  14. You mean not sacrificing musical quality to be loud? Or the whole always wear sunglasses thing? Or would you have had them stop throwing liquids at anyone wearing UCLA attire? I would've fired myself out of embarrassment. All NU does is play old music that nobody has ever heard of, but at least it wasn't that. And while it pains me to say it, take a page out of Michigan's book and do a halftime show of Monty Python and the Holy Grail for cryin' out loud. You know, something that's both entertaining and won't force people to change the channel. Also, Northwestern doesn't come out of the tunnel to anything. The two times I can remember the entrance song for the wilcats at Ryan field, they were "Don't bring me down, Bruce" and the 1812 overture. They play the fight song when they actually run out (1812 right before that over the sound system). Of course, I'd just be happy if they didn't play during the coin toss or when the ref is talking after a review. hey, at least you get to hear michigan's fight song over and over.
  15. too early in the game to worry about that yet.
  16. aren't you tired of whining about this yet?
  17. I hope the missed PAT doesn't decide this game.
  18. Well, he did go to USC... He's the biggest homer when it comes to USC to ever be given a microphone. After he's done tossing Reggie Bush's you know what, he'll immediately begin to give Carson Palmer a you know what on the Dan Patrick Show. You haven't heard local LA media if you think Sean is the biggest USC homer around. You're lucky. not living in LA isn't luck, its common sense. :D
  19. didn't you learn last night that a ballcarrier is down the second his helmet comes off?
  20. ugh, how to stay awake through halftime?
  21. texas gets the ball to start the 2nd.
  22. texas has a lot of cheapshot artists.
  23. no, this is pretty standard. why do you think the big 10 was the first to use instant replay?
  24. The OL played well, but they need some studs to come in. If they get that, they could have a decent shot at doing something next year. Both the O's looked like they were sleeping and not practicing for 6 weeks. They were brutal at times, but I think it was more a case of the D's just being EXTREMELY physical and well-coached. I was SHOCKED that FSU was able to do as well as they were against the PSU line. The only beef that I have for the game was that PSU was never flagged for a holding call over 89 offensive plays, while FSU was called for every nit-picky hold. PSU was holding just as often when I looked closer, and FSU was still getting by and pressuring Robinson. FSU's O-line played well? 26 rushes for 26 yards?
