    In some fairness, they gave out an extension to Hendry before this tank job. I don't think they should have ANYWAY, but no one knew it was this big of a mess when they extended Hendry. Now if they still extend Baker, I'm going down to Hendry's office with a baseball bat and/or a pitch fork. Violence isn't the answer :) I think he meant he wants a tryout.

    ouch. strong words for a guy that's missed time and is still the seventh highest scoring catcher in the game. I think those comments apply to four team leagues or something.

    he almost got that last one to the warning track. he may be coming around a little. truth is the pitching has been pretty bad during the losing streak too. this is a bad team.

    there are going to be some fights at the cell next week. question is, will it be cubs fans fighting sox fans or cubs fans fighting each other, or possibly dusty.

    I remember the 8-game losing streak the Cubs had last year, and was nearly to the point that I wanted to see it continue so something had to be done. I am now at that point. Heads have got to roll soon to save next season. this offseason created some problems for next season.

    that ball was gone after seeing that replay again. considering you know you won't get any runs, hill has pitched well. I would chalk this up as a good outing. eyre faces barry next time though,
