  1. Willis goes top 10 now, IMO.
  2. Every time I see Elton Brand now, I have a sudden urge to find Jerry Krause and inflict bodily harm upon him.
  3. That is a ludacris statement, while I love Mike Brown, this team will not be 500 without him. How many games has he played the last 2 years, and yet the Bears are 24-8 duing the regular season.
  4. I really hope they consider keeping Brown. If he can stay healthy a Brown/AA saftey duo would be insane. His contract isn't that much now(relatively speaking )
  5. If/When AA throws up 2002 numbers in 07, this deal will be a bargain.
  6. Because he needs to be in the right system. And I'm pretty sure he can't be any worse than Danielle Manning. That was some of the worst safety play I have ever seen.
  7. fwiw AA was at his best when he played under Lovie Smith in St. Louis. If the price is right it would be a great aquisition for the Bears and give them more flexibiity at draft time. Michael Griffin is the only saftey worth one of our top 2 picks(well Landry and Nelson too but that is a not a reality) If Griffin is off the board for the Bears then safety is agian a concern come the 07 season. But with AA, the Bears can focus on OLine or Linebacker with the first 2 picks.(They can still look at safety as well) My board would look like this(only including players that realistically could be around, and overall rank is in () ) OLB (2)Rufus Alexander (5)Paul Polusky (6)Lawrence Timmons (7)Jon Beason S (3)Michael Griffin OT (4)Joe Staley (8)Aaron Sears (9)Tony Ugoh OG (1) Justin Blalock (7)Ben Grubbs I don't think I could pass on Blalock and Guards tend to fall come draft time(not because of talent but teams rather fill skill positions high) I'm gonna get some flames on Poz > Rufus but IMO Rufus is a better pro prospect. I am liking Staley more everday(I'm sure the marketing brass is pushing for that pick  ) Out side of Blalock and Staley, none of the other OLineman stand out(meaning I'm not sure if one is head and shoulders above the other)
  8. Archuleta has been in the wrong scheme, he could flourish in Lovie's D.
  9. I will refer to Theriot from now on as Dominos. All he does is deliver.

  11. Yeah, Beltre hit a 3 run HR. He must be back on the roids.
  12. How can he be a free agent when he was given college eligibility back the 1st time he entered the draft? I think because he went undrafted. That is what all the articles are saying at least.
  13. If the Bulls can't land a decent big man in the draft, they should go after Kentucky's Randolph Morris who can enter the NBA as a FA. http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070319/SPORTS03/703190497/1002
  14. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/scor...uth.rumors.nfl/ The Redskins and Adam Archuleta's agent, Gary Wichard, are exploring ways to either release him without taking a big salary cap hit or trade him, sources said. -- Washington Post I think AA would be much better in the Bears D, I hope they pursue this.
  15. Well I agree his calf size doesn't mean much, but doesn't it feel dirty to agree with Muskat? I just had to take a shower.
  16. This has been said a million times, and it still doesn't prove anything. Carrie Muskat agrees with you. http://www.bleedcubbieblue.com/
  17. Matt Millen, is that you?
  18. Umm...did I miss something? When was that decided? http://www.suntimes.com/sports/mulligan/285706,CST-SPT-mully07.article . He didn't say WR though, just offensive player. Maybe Hester fills the need at TE or OG instead. Fred Miller better watch his back.

  20. I absolutely love Durant. He could be a great pick in the 3rd round. I'd be very happy with that draft. WR isn't the biggest need, but if Jarrett is around at 31, there's a good chance he's the best player on the board at that point. And WR will become a need position after 2007. Moose is on his way out. Berrian could be a FA. Bradley hasn't been healthy or good enough. That draft would be near perfect for me. Get a top 5 WR. Get the best pure guard in the draft and my #1 sleeper at OLB. Wow I thought Jarrett was projected a lot higher...I didn't think he'd be there at 31. Is his value dropping? I heard he runs a 4.6-4.7 40. Irregardless(espcecially with Hester moving to WR) there is 0 need for WR. There's no need with Bradley and Hester who are still learning/have to learn the position, an aging Moose who has been tailing off in years past and then Bernard Berrian? I'm not all for spending a 1st rounder on a WR, but you have to bring in some bodies who fit into the team at that position. The only thing holding back Bradley is some injuries, Berrian is on the verge of stardom.

  22. It's ashame Dvoracek got hurt, he was looking like a beast in the preseason.

  24. I don't. I would be willing to bet that a lot of people who post in this thread don't either. I don't have to listen to Limbaugh to know he is a pompas windbag. I don't have to read Marrotti to know he is one either. I don't think there are a lot of people who buy a newspaper becuase Lupica or Marrotti or Ryan write for it. no one should buy that newspaper. the Sun-Times is total trash. 6 pages of news and 6 pages of sports sandwiching 120 pages of car ads. All at a 2nd grade reading level. You're better off reading Red-Eye Alot of pics of hot chicks in the Red Eye! :P
