  1. Then people would have been complaining that Piniella is wearing down our starting pitiching.
  2. The Chicago Bears select Rufus Alexander LB Oklahoma The Bears need to protect themselves with the Lance Briggs siuation. Alexander would be a perfect fit in the Bears cover 2.
  3. Sizemore is the best CF in the game, IMO.
  4. Interesting article.......sorry if already posted.... boy..is Dayn Perry tubby... http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/6641066
  5. I would actually like this deal better vs. the Skins deal. We would have 3 picks in the first two rounds vs. 2. Plus no huge signing bonuses', holdouts, to deal with.
  6. Yankees...110 wins...with that rotation...riiiiiiiiiiiight....
  7. I love Lou. He showed more emotion tonight than that other toothpick sucking nitwit did in 4 years combined. GO LOU!
  8. With no search function how did you find this thread? Bookmark?
  9. He will probably murder the Bears...
  10. :-s if rocky mcintosh isn't included, i don't do it. i'd even part with a 4th rounder, but that's as high as i go. I'd love Mcintosh. I don't understand why the Redskins would trade up to get him last year and then trade him this year, but I hope they do. The Redskins are a very stupid franchise.
  11. I imagine the marketing peeps for the Bears would love this pick as well. I pm'ed CCP, I'm suprised he hasn't picked yet.
  12. The Chicago Bears Select.............. Joe Staley OT Central Michigan Really the best value on the board at this point, some mocks have Staley going in the top 20. Fred Miller is nearing the end, and the Bears really don't have any youth at the position. Staley has bearly even tapped his potential and could be a lock down LT in the league. His main weakness is obviously strength at the point of attack, but I'm confident he will continue to get stronger as a pro. He can sit behind Tait & Miller in 07, then take over in 08 at LT moving Tait back to RT, his more natural position.
  13. this is the reason the NFL should implement a rookie cap a la the NBA. I'm beginning to think Jimmy Johnson's trade value chart needs to be, well, "re-evaluated" Off the top of my head I can't remember any teams trading up into the top 10, or out of it in recent years. IMO, because of the salaries of top 5-10 picks, those picks are become less desirable.
  14. I don't think he wanted the salary that the #6 pick would commend, and was unsure if he could trade down. Don't blame him, especially when he can find elite talent anywhere in the draft. If you could do the 2006 draft over again, I'd say Devin Hester & Mark Anderson should be top 15 picks.
  15. It was moving for a while.........we might get 2 rounds done.
  16. Caron Butler is likely done for the season, Washington would be a great matchup for us. If we can't beat the Wizards minus Butler, then we didn't deserve to be there in the first place.
  17. We match up horrible with Orlando.

  19. There's always tomorrow.. :) How's he going to get a hit on an off-day? The Bengals training facility isn't too far away.
  20. That fans showing support for the drug addict. Touching.
