  1. DRIVE OFF A CLIFF SALVADORE YOU MORON!
  2. Wilken has a nice track record, but I still don't know what he was thing regarding Colvin.
  3. I wanted the Bears to draft McINtosh last year....that would be a solid move.
  4. If you want discuss a trade, contact me personally, I don't appreciate you using the media to promote any trade ideas. Thanks -j. Angelo
  5. http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/26/261540.jpg This could take our defense to the 85 Bear level serioulsy. We have been a top 3 D the past two seasons without pro-bowl saftey play for the most part. The Cover-2 needs a jagguarnaut back there! Do it Jerry!
  6. YES! ROCK ON! LARON LANDRY! YES!
  7. Laron Landry would be so sick in this defense.
  8. I think Joachim Noah will be pretty bad in the NBA.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bip9KlMxd04 I'm really moving on the Landry bandwagon. I think the Bears have to be considered the best modern cover-2 D without signifigant play from the safety position(I'm factoring in Mike Brown missing so much time) For this D to take the next step they need top play from their safeties, IMO.
  10. Signed Lovie Smith to a contract extenstion Hired a new DC and a couple new posistion coaches Traded Thomas Jones Traded for Adam Archuleta Signed Anthony Adams Re-Signed Ruben Brown nothing? beat ya! Though I forgot about Adams. That and Boone actually signed with the Chiefs. Still in denial over the devasting loss of Alphoso Boone? j/k

  12. If this deal goes through Landry makes more sense. The reason a Briggs deal isn't done is because they don't want to tie that much money up in the linebacker position. But if they took Willis at 6 how much would his salary be?
  13. The thought of Landry in our secondary makes my pants tight. I'm not afriad to say it. Note that Gaines Adams is also expected to be available there. But I still want: http://www.nationalchamps.net/2005/sub/pics/small/louisianastate_laron_landry_sm.jpg You want an XBOX360?
  14. Redskins fans look to be talking themselves into liking the trade. It probably would be a decent deal for the Skins, since they don't seem to mind paying sick money for players they want, despite the lack of results it has produced. I disagree. This is a terrible deal for the Skins. THey have a good young LB in McIntosh. THey need DLine help, hell they could even draft Landry at that postiton. They give up a top 10 pick for one of their stronger positisons on the roster. Stupid. as for their fans They are as clueless about building a team as their owner. Sad really.
  15. No doubt. They have a decent young WILL, Rocy McIntosh. Plus they have already invested in Fletcher. They should grab either Landry, or a Adams the DE. Isn't there next pick not to the 5th round? So they get Briggs, fall back in the draft, and push a young promising player back to the bench. No logic whatsoever.
  16. But who are we taking there thats so important? Is Angelo spying someone a la the Devin Hester pick? My guess: Joe Thomas Laron Landry Patrick Willis please let this happen.
  17. You might be bumping me up to #6. 8-)
  18. Do it Jerry and don't think twice! I may actually hold out for more for Briggs. He's NOT a system player. I have no clue who the Bears would take at #6. It most certainly wouldn't be a LB. I would make the Skins at least give up a 3rd or 4th rounder also. That's as good of a deal as you're going to get. He is right, I'm sorry but arguing that we could get more is just being a homer.
  19. BS? Is there a LB out there that we could draft that could even come close to replacing Briggs? Patrick Willis can play the WILL just fine I'm sure. Would you draft him 6 though? It only makes sense if the Bears can trade down and get a couple picks. Wonder if the Pats would be interested. Yes. Willis is a beast. He won't get past 11-12 after his lastest workout. If Joe Thomas or Calvin Johnson fell to 6 I'd also consider that too.
  20. I  huh? This is would be worth the 14th overall pick.

  22. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/playerbreakingnews.asp?sport=NFL&id=2438&line=91230&spln=1 Do it Jerry and don't think twice!
  23. Brown should be enclosed in a plastic bubble during training camp.
  24. The silver lining is that since this is the first game of the year, Mike Brown might actually play, so at least we will fact LT with a decent run defense.
