  1. Does anyone else have a craving for sushi at the moment?
  2. co-sign adding a 3rd signature. Finally a rotation that doesn't depend on Prior. 8)
  3. I'll laugh my ass off when Gil Meche gets 9 mil+ a season.
  4. Bulls could be looking at another top 5 pick in the 07 draft. Isiah Thomas makes Jim Hendry look like a genious.
  5. hmmm...what does your bank account look like? Given the current state of our legal system, I might be able to cash in....
  6. congrats cards.
  7. Adaquate coaching. I think we will be seeing this shortly on the north side. Seriously, Gene Clines? I wouldn't let him instruct my kids t-ball team.
  8. Are you doubting Mr. Hendry in that regard?
  9. That narrows it down.
  10. hey, I'm liking this Tyrus Thomas kid.
  11. In addition to 20 million being cleared off the books, the Cubs appear willing to add an additional 20 million to the payroll, for a grand total of 40 mill to play with this offseason. Lets say Diasuke gets 15 million per season plus figure 5 mi/season of the bidding fee amoritzed over the life of the contract(its possible they won't even hold this "bidding fee" against the payroll budget") Where is the rest of the $$$ going.
  12. Mike Brown was not playing at a pro-bowl level this season.
  13. Did they have the same resources as Jimmy?
  14. Has any GM in Cubs history had the payroll comparable to Hendry's.(relative to the rest of the league of course) I know the Cubs had the 7th highest payroll in 06, has a Cubs GM ever had a payroll ranking this high?
  15. elbow pain, back pain, and so on are not reasons to worry? No. Unlike some other Cubs pitchers...cough, cough,...Z knows how to pitch through this pain and be effective.
  16. Until Zambrano gives me a reason to worry about him...I am not going to.
  17. can someone loan me 5 bucks so I can read the article.
  18. I wonder if Eyre will have to shave and lose 20 pounds?
  19. I don't recall hearing anything to suggest Rusch was pursued by anyone. Oh well, good for Glendon. Right place at the right time. Any word when Hendry will be handing out c-notes to random pedestrains on the corner of clark & addison?
  20. hmm..potential business prospect?
  21. Although some don't believe in analyzing segments of seasons per say.... This guy was arguably the worst leadoff hitter in baseball during April and May. This was one of the factors that contributed to the Cubs start from hell.
