    whats the status of Berrian for next week? Mark Bradley? Not having a speed threat down field today hurt as well.

    Todd Johnson was pretty terrible today as well. Miss ya already Mike Brown.

    Benson had a couple of decent runs, but he is still not a very good pass blocker. Thomas Jones will get the start next week. I really really hate the way jones runs. He is not the same runner he was last year. However, I still have confidence in him to get the job done. I'm confindent Benson can do the job better.

    yep, it's sorta like the Illini team with Head, Williams and Brown. They can shoot 3's all night and midrange jumpers, but have no one to score inside consistently. if one or more of your outside guys get in foul trouble, suddenly the scoring options dry up Except Duhon isn't as good as any of those three guys. Oh and Augustine has more O than Ben. Homer alert.

    Gotta say I take a little offense to Maddux being so "miserable" as a Cub. Mainly because we continued to hold the guy in such reverence(me included, I love to watch him pitch, even when his stuff declined, his mental approach was amazing). How about his last home game with the Cubs with the standing ovation? Such misery..sheesh.
