If Wood continues to have problems this year, I hope he just considers hanging it up. He needs to consider his future, and his family. Seriously, with all his arm problems will he even be able to lift his grandkids someday? -

Can't really agree wtih that part of the article. Provided Ramirez continues his steady numbers, and D. Lee comes back 100%, this offense will be middle of the pack IMO. Now if the Cubs add even another big bat, say Soriono, or Drew(my prefered choice) and upgrade 2B(via a trade for Marcus Giles) I think this offense could be very good. I can't stress how bad Gene Clines and Sarge Matthews were for this team. They should not provide baseball instruction on any level. -
Lets also give a tip of the cap to us, the new generation of Cub fans. It's a new era IMO. Had they let Aram get away the backlash from the fan base would have been substantial. Good job everyone.

Disgruntled Cubs Fan, we can ALL be as Disgruntled as you. For that, I am saddened. Go Cubs (in 2106) I'm just glad everyone is uniting against the Hendry Administration. Sometimes it has to hit rock bottom before it gets better. It's just now hitting rock bottom? No. Rock Bottom will be when Hendry uses Aram's money on 3 worthless players.

I think Hendry refuses to go above 15 per season. It's over, IMO. I'm so completely convinced that it's an issue over a years and not the money. I'll bet Aramis wanted 6 and Hendry and the Cubs didn't want to exceed 5. That angers me.

That's technically tampering. It's time to blow this team up. Trade everything of value, load up on prospects and young players, and just put the kibosh on the next two years. I agree. Hell with it. Stick Scott Moore out there for 162 and see what he can do.

I didn't see anywhere in that article where Aram stated "he would not re-sign with the Cubs" We can still keep him, if Hendry ponies up.

Well I though about this. 2 potential teams for Aram have young 3rd baseman with some potential(Angels - Dallas McPherson Dodgers - Wilson Benemit) If they sign Aram, can we approach them about aquiring one of these players?

If Hendry won't offer Ramirez 96/6, he is an idiot. I will not debate the meaning of the word idiot in this case.
