    ! I drank a lot of that stuff at a concert in Milwaukee this summer. This is the only other time besides then that I have ever heard the stuff mentioned! It's second only to Indio. Which is hard to get considering it is mexican and isn't imported. I live in San Antonio and its tough to get. I really dont like going down to Laredo and getting shot to get some.

But you can see through this--you and perhaps you alone can see through their imperalistic claims of "objective truth" and obsession with illusory "facts." You and perhaps you alone can see that they wish to tear you from your natural impulses-- the exhilaration of exciting plays unmediated by reflection. You and St. Morgan may be our last hope-- to protect the sanctity of pristine baseball-in-the-moment experience and anecdotes-around-the-fire from the fetid conspiracy of these boot-licking statistics lovers!     Only because Theo knew all 32 GMs wanted Soriano so he just decided to go with plan B. There weren't any rumors that he wanted Soriano when Drew hadnt declared for free agency.

    I dunno about you guys, but I didn't see anything about the Red Sox interested in Soriano, but I did see them looking at Lugo and Drew.

    Are you sure JP Ricciardi, Theo Epstein, Billy Beane or Paul DePodesta would? How about Jon Daniels or Chris Antonetti? It's funny because all the other GMs spit out RBI as a credible statistic, which when it was first invented in early 1900s the writers, players and GMs (or whatever they called themselves then) thought it was utterly stupid.

    The other elite player in 2001 (there were four) was Gavin Floyd. Michael Main and Matt Harvey are getting that kind of buzz it seems. Ditto for the power arm of Rick Porcello's. Andrew Brackman not playing basketball may make this draft better at the top. But according to the scouts the HS depth is strength. Apparently the first two rounds of this draft could all have gone in the top 40 last year.

    uh somewhere in this thread theres a point i made where 122 games of JD Drew is a heck of a lot better than 162 games of Soriano in CF.
